Hi all, I have just finished reading The Fast Diet updated edition and am ready to give the 5:2 diet my best shot.
I have a wedding in 16 weeks time where I will be a bridesmaid and have 12kg (26.5lbs) to lose to get back to my healthy weight, not just for the wedding but for life. So getting as near to my target weight as I can by then is what I’m really aiming for – NOT a crash diet!
I’m feeling really nervous, I have experimented with fast days before but always caved in in the evening, managing to pack in thousands of calories before bed as I felt so hungry. I really struggle to sleep if I have restricted my calorie intake in the day :/ any tips?
Love the idea of the forum so we don’t have to struggle through alone and its so inspirational to see people getting healthier and slimmer without having to constantly be on a diet π
