I picked up the new book “The Fast Beach Diet” last week and decided to give it a try for 6 weeks as the book suggests. I started fasting last week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday by skipping breakfast & lunch and eating a 500-cal dinner. I just drink a cup of black coffee in the morning and during lunch, and then the whole work day goes by and it’s dinner time. I find this working for me quite well, since it allows me to comfortably enjoy dinner with friends and family every evening. Surprisingly, I feel so much more energised even on my commute home and didn’t really feel physically hungry during dinner time. The hunger pangs come around 3pm but I just drink lots of water and then it goes away. It’s been a week now and I went from 151 to 143.8lb (Female, 25 years), feeling a lot lighter and refreshed.
