  • 24 days into a diet of 1200 calories and walking 3 miles and not losing but .4 or less each week, I came upon Michael’s PBS series about the 5:2 and was intrigued. I could do this I thought. So I did. I stayed under 900 on my regular days and 400 or so on my fast days and first week in I lose 5.6 pounds! I was a lifetime yo yo dieter. From Weight Watchers to Cabbage Soup I pretty much I am sure messed my metabolism up. For some reason this 5:2 works. Weight loss is great but I was trying it for mainly the health benefits of cancer reduction since seeing my husband battle it has opened my eyes to the C word.

    this diet is the cheapest diet ever

    staying under 900 on nonfastdays 2 that is hard

    i’m doing 800 only 4 11 days want 2 reverse my type2diab

    if it helps w/ the big c the better

    how do u nutritionally do the 900?

    that is my biggest scare

    well i have decided 2 reply 2
    5 unanswered people when i get on the boards
    so we all don’t get lost in the shuffle
