Hi all. Ive been doing the 5:2 on and off for around 6 months and I’m now only 2lbs from my goal weight of 9st. I’ve never had a set routine and sometimes go weeks without fasting at all. I just wanted to post today because I woke up this morning feeling amazing! I never feel bad the morning after a fast day but i’ve never felt this good either. I practically jumped out of bed (on a work day) before my alarm, I have masses of energy and just feel really happy. Has anyone experienced this? I drank around 2.5l of water yesterday (I don’t usually drink much) and laid off the diet soda (I drink a lot!) could that have made a difference? Yesterday the fasting seemed a lot easier and I lasted until 9pm without any real feelings of hunger. Does anyone have any ideas as to why certain days are easier? Thanks.
