  • Morning all. Gorgeous sunshine here so looking forward to my walk later. The two fast days are done and the second was easier than the first so I reckon I will stick with doing them both together. I like the idea of getting them out of the way πŸ˜€ Going to sit and work out some meal plans for the rest of the week so I can eat normally but healthily. Anyone recommend any particular sites for recipes?

Hope everyone is having a good weekend and good luck to all starting the fbd soon!

    Morning all

I had a very busy day yesterday. …..girls ran me round n round 18,000 steps…..

Quiet day today ian is back at work tonight…. Wm glad you managed your fast days ok I just look on line for recipes or try to adapt what I like. …I haven’t really cut anything out just cut down portion sizes or swapped for healthier alternatives. ..

Fast day for me tomorrow and I will be cheering on my FBD friends…from the sidelines….

    Have a happy Sunday everybody

    Audrey

Hi all, back in the saddle and on a FD here. Its a bright day so either going to paint or trying and do a bit more living room sorting. Stu is gradually on the mend after his op. Feeling like am the size of a house so getting back to 5:2 essential. Hope every one is ok. Can’t remember who mentioned cleaning the paving but we use BIO D Garden sanitiser its fantastic , smells nice and is totally biodegradable. Great value and lasts ages

    Hi Jean

Yes still eating food I can’t have next week. I shall probably put on weight is this counter productive I ask myself?!

    Hi KT

Glad you are still with us as you know tine will take you through this phase and out the other end. Stay with it. It is true many of us go through these times but we also have come out the other side.

    Hi Hemmy

I went out and bought a lot of fruit as it is something that should be easy to do in the warmer weather that is warmer. I also have soup for later in the day as this will keep me full and up my vegetable intake. Let’s hope I don’t suffer from too much wind or if I do I stay away from people. πŸ™‚

I can see that there are more posts over the page so may post again in a minute x

Hi Mojo and others wanting some low calorie recipes. Here are some from the Hairy bikers. I like their chicken and chori so bake which isn’t on here.

    Jean x

Ok just read a few more of the last link and there are quite a few there for you coffee. There will be a few in the recipes below as well. Plenty for everybody to be getting on with I’m sure.

No reason not to be able to succeed. A lot of the recipes below are well below 500 calls.

    http://www.womanmagazine.co.uk/diet-food/diet-reduce-calories/low-fat-comfort-food-under-500-calories-31356

    Hi Mojo

I’m glad your second day went well. Everybody needs to find what is right for them as well. We all eat at different times need to fit into different patterns and have different foods we like. Once you find what is right for you stick with it.

Have you got a lot to lose? Which part of uk to you live in?

    Hi Audrey

Fast day for me as well. I have got to say I eat far less bread than I used to and less snacks although at the moment I have slipped back in to some of my bad habits. Nowhere near as bad as I was though before starting.

Your steps are truly amazing as well. Well done the thought of that wears me out.

    Hi Jean

Enjoy your jet wash. I hope that wind has changed it was really cold last night when I came in. No fruit for me today as I am trying to use up things that I still gphave in my fridge. I just can’t throw them out, I hate waste and rarely throw things out.

Plenty of fruit for tomorrow though I Amy stick to just strawberries as it is a fast day, I will have a nice mixture the other days.

Anyone know how to keep prepared fruit fresh in the fridge?

    Hi Hemmy

It sounds as if food doesn’t take a long time in transit now!! Those roses were good value, I hope the ground isn’t too hard.

    Hi Celtic

The product that you mentioned is it to use with a power wash or can you use without. I have some inside areas that I need to clean concrete and quarry tiles. Not here in England and it won’t be for a while, but as it is indoors I can’t use a power wash. I just can’t get deep seated dirt out.

Some of the recipe links above have quite a few vegetarian links on them. Have a look as it may help you get back to 5:2. It is good that Stu is now on the mend and that must be a good reason to celebrate but celebrate in 5:2 style πŸ™‚

I’m just going to check out that link.

    Thanks.

Sent Stu out to take Mouse for a walk while I paint and cook.Penny Norfolk Terrier cross stayed here coz she’s got such tiny wee legs that it like taking a sloath for walk(and we walk slowly). I was getting a bit concerned as hes been ages…so I sent his PEBBELL a location text and it showed him as being in a park where’s there’s a very nice teashop that does home made cake. After sending him a text saying are you two eating cake hes just rung to saying he was looking to see if about volunteering doing a bit of gardening.Made a wok ful of many veg and quorn bolognese for dinner which will become cottage pie and freezer surprise. Hope every one is having a sunny day.

    Ginette…

Didn’t even get to the jet wash but all prepared (weeded) to go with it next weekend, weather permitting.. we are then going to seal the bricks., before re sanding the cracks.

We were laying some turf in borders to stop us general weeding…we start one thing and move on to another it happens all the time…still it looks really better even now.

    Xx

    Ginette,

Some lovely recipes mains and puddings….thanks for finding them…

Finished my lovely dinner and merlot…We deserved every morsel πŸ˜€ It’s ages since we had a lovely dinner, you forget, we have changed meals big time…usually at least 4 full Yorkshire pud meals every week no wonder we were fat!! …notice ‘were’ ! Getting smaller πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Already for tomorrow Fast day for us…need to take main scales for weigh in after FD.

    Jean x

Ginette – I want to lose a stone for sure, another half would be nice but not really a goal. I live in the Forest of Dean, Glos. πŸ™‚

Ginette thanks for all the great links to recipe ideas….

Just a quick post to wish you all well tomorrow on your 1st day of the FBD. … and also to say to symba have a lovely time away in your van…

Fast day tomorrow for me I am going to try to keep away from chocolate and sweets in support for you all..

    Audrey

    Hi from a newbie!
I’m in Lincolnshire and starting my first day tomorrow! Figured a busy work day should keep my mind occupied so no time to think if I’m hungry or not and always manage to drink more water when I work with a certain colleague so he will get me off to a good start.
Have lost nearly two stone through diet and exercise but hit the plateau at 13st5 nearly six months ago and can’t shift more so here I am. Reaching the big 40 this year and vowed to start my next decade fitter and healthier

Ginette we dont have a jet washer anymore, we use it with a deck broom and watering can.. it brings the pavers up a treat. Also great fot clean up after the dogs outfoors and cleaning the wheelie bin.

    Hi Celtic

Looked that up it is for internal doors so sounds perfect for what I need when I go. Thanks for that. It also sounds good for Pams patio as well. She has just got a water meter so this maybe an easier option.

    Hi Jean

Sad to say no roast today. New potatoes, not at all the same. I can’t complain though. Pie also changed into Gammon.

Yes when cleaning one thing leads to another. I have some DIY work to do but I am not getting sidetracked, sorting out, deep clean, Decorating and DIY. At least this way I shall get it all done. Hopefully I can also make a little time for some exercise for the 6 weeks I am on the FBD as well. My son had now got the sorting out bug as well πŸ™‚ long may it last…..but not too long.

Tomorrow for me will be a normal day it is only the NFDs that will change and I may change my fast day on Friday into a 800 or similar, I shall see how I feel when I get there.

Recipes looked nice and in case we fancy trying something a bit different we now have the recipes. I may even get around to printing out the ones I fancy this time. I need to see if there is a place for recipes in MFP I seem to remember there is.

Have a good time away Jean.

Good luck Jean and Hemmy, good luck to others joining us on the sidelines as well.

    Hi Mojo

Quite a way from me in the south then. Not many of us from the south here. Break your weight loss into 7lbs targets as that makes it seem easier. You will soon see progress.

    Hi MM

Welcome to you. The first day is always the hardest. Drink lots of water and if you start getting a headache which people seem to suffer at first have an oxo in water. If you normally drink a lot of tea or coffee in your day make sure you allow for a couple of cups at least as this will help avoid a headache. Caffeine withdrawal can give you one almighty headache. I did it once I tried decaf teabags by day two it was so bad I had to lay down. Someone accidentally made me a cup of tea with a normal bag and the headache eased. Who would have thought it!!

Losing weight is very achievable on this wok and it doesn’t feel like you are constantly dieting. This is why it is much easier.

    Good luck for tomorrow.

    Hi Audrey

It’s nice to have something new to try out. I think we all seem to get stuck in a rut with find at time and eat the same things. A lot of those recipes don’t seem like they are difficult to prepare either.

Good luck with the chocolate and sweets. This is the thing that will prove difficult for me.

    See you all tomorrow.

    Ginette

    Morning All,

A cold day here this morning, maybe a bit of rain…still we are moving away from it!…lol

Full of aches and pains this morning…how do you do it Hemmy…still lots more to do next weekend weather permiting…use it or loose it …is the saying…maybe we should move more…

Everybody on the starting block this morning…all ready for the off…I am feeling good to go…. Good luck to us all…..πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Welcome MM..a busy corner here keep popping in…it helps a lot.

Good luck to all the fasters today..have a good one….. and a good day to all NFDs.

Hoping to keep in touch WIFI permitting…two pair of scales packed! Hubby frowning 😠

    Jean x

Good morning friends hope all is well with you and yours.

Wow a lovely lot of posts to read later. Thank you Gine for all those links I can see. Xx

Welcome MM… gook luck on this way of life. You have already done brilliantly.

Lots of encouragement here you will fit in wonderfully. Xx

Well all set for the off on the FBD… Fast today … Wed… Fri… think I will do 800 on Friday as Kristy is back .. make it easier with a meal in the evening.. will see.

Weight good after the week-end… I have lost another lb. Should weigh tomorrow really but wondered when Sym and G were weighing this week. Should I weigh the same day.

Having my fruit at lunch time today… then see how much left for tonight.

Have a brilliant day all … cleaning my car inside out over the next 2 days for service Wed. Lol

Sym you make me laugh about how do I do all the outside work. I was aching like hell from the painting I did last week. Only just eased. Lolol Just got to keep going.

Brit lovelies … Good luck this week whatever you are doing

β€œWe can do anything if we have enthusiasm.” AND we have it in bucket loads don’t we girls. Yay. Xx

    Morning all

Much needed fast day today for me, with having children and hubby at home this weekend have over eaten and now am up 2 lbs and feel terrible. …

Have had a good walk on treadmil already and am trying to decide wet her or not to go for a liquid only day today.

I am managing to drink 2 glasses of honeygar ( honey and vinegar) a day no improvement in my arthritis as yet but I am going to the loo pretty regularly which is a change…..will keep you informed if any noticeable improvements or benefits…

Keep in touch everybody together we are stronger

    Audrey

Hello everybody! I’m 26 and from the Wirral! I tried the 5:2 last year and lost 5 pounds in two weeks however I only have half a stone to lose. I gave up and went back to normal. Just wondering if anyone knows, once your getting near to your target weight what is the most effective way to maintain it? I think this is where my issue will lie, keeping the unwanted pounds off once they’re actually gone!

I spoke to my Gastro consultant about this, and he says move to 6:1 to keep the weight off when you reach target. Sounds good advice to me.

That would make sense thanks! Today is day 1, It is my day off work after a long set of night shifts which completely mess my body clock up. Trying everything I can to keep busy and not think about eating anything until tonight after my 30 min spin class. Does anyone else excercise on their FD’s?

Morning all. Good luck to everyone starting the FBD and strength to everyone else who is pottering along, like the little red engine… ‘We think we can, we know we can, we did!’

intermittent sunshine and cloud here, but enjoyed my walk. Bought new shoes and stuff for a week away at the end of April and also bought myself a new game on Steam so I know what I’ll be doing today πŸ˜€ Noticed some of my seeds coming up, but can’t remember whether they are cornflowers or poppies! And yes, I forgot to put a label on them πŸ˜€

You all seem to busy! I find myself sitting at the computer most of the day, playing games so I admire you all πŸ˜‰

    Hi,

    Arrived safely at site.

We are fasting Monday and Thursday … Main weigh in Friday.

Book says to weigh in after each fast day to log…??

    Speak later
    Jean x

    blossom89

I have exercised on a fast day. i did a high impact class which i thought was a bad idea but didn’t feel too bad actually but i really needed to eat when i got home, which was part of my allowance all the water in the world isn’t going to make you feel full.

i wouldn’t recommend it unless your sure that your not going to faint, just a fast walk instead.

    Good Morning from Barbados Ladies

You will be pleased to know it is grey and overcast today! πŸ™‚ I am relieved I tell you, its been far too hot recently!

I am fasting today too, I hope everybody has a good day.

    Lol Clarkey

I will take Barbados even grey and overcast. Chilly here today and very.
cloudy. Hope things are good with you. Xx

Done a good hour and a half walk .. plus carried a big heavy log of wood back. It was too good to leave.

Just had my fruit … banana .. plum ..tangerine. .. This evening … having 2 egg omelette with a slice of ham inside. .. plus a green salad. Should be ok.

Yippee feel good today… Love this fruit idea… it defiantly suits my system. Never worked so well since I started this way of life.

I never believed in taking laxatives it didn’t sit right with me. Now no problems at all. Lol.

Hope Sym and G find it the same for them.

Hope everyone else is ok …. We are really going to do this girls. Xx

    Hemmy,

I have had half a grapefruit then strawberries and melon for breakfast.

Ham salad for dinner. Coming under 400 calories for both meals.

The fruit breakfast really helps the calories.

Walking not so good today.. Had daughter visit so stopped the walking.. So cold also.

Going into Chesterfield tomorrow for a look around.

    Is Ginette OK…

Can’t tap well on the phone so can’t catch everybody…sorry

    Take care friends

    Jean X

    Hi Jean

Dull and grey all day here. Not even a peep of sunshine. I hope your wifi connection holds out. Smiled at the scales…. I forgot to remind you and Hemmy to measure as well. I haven’t measured for a while either.

Glad you have arrived and obviously wifi is fine. Wouldn’t like to lose you now, Hemmy and I want to know how you are doing.

I really dislike grapefruit so that won’t be in my bowls of mixed fruit I had strawberries, satsuma and three grapes earlier.

Yes I’m fine thanks just catching up on a bit of TV I missed last week. A new food programme is starting a week today so I shall be watching that. It is about what sweetners do to us. Sounds interesting. Wether may be nicer to walk tomorrow.

    Hi Hemmy

Well done on your loss may it carry on. I shall be weighing after the first fast day of the week. I imagine with all I have eaten I will have gained but I am just taking this as a starting point.

I had fruit today and then mango and chicken salad, soup for later, a complete change to the menu I had planned.

I hope you find some good recipes for you in those links.

    Hi Audrey

That probably takes a while before you see some measurable results. Maybe in two of three weeks time you may be nicely surprised.

    Hi Blossom

I have heard that 6:1 is good at that point. You will gain health benefits from that time as well. Good luck on your first day.

    Hi Burstow

Yes that seems to be the advice I have heard as well.

    Hi Mojo

The flowers when they appear will be a nice surprise.

    Hi Deby

Nice to see another new name.

    Hi Clarkey

This is how I feel in the summer here. I don’t like too much heat. Have a good fast day.

    See you all later.

    Hemmy…
Another pound off well done.. Missed it thanks Ginette..

All good here.. It bit hungry tonight..unusual for me.. A small glass of milk later… Calories a bit lower than usual.

    Ginette…
Loved the hair bikers curry.. Will be trying them. So easy to make when we get back.

    Glad we are doing well.

    Xx

    Hi all

Glad you are all doing well… had a bad day here. … got through till tea time then once I started eating just havent stopped…

    Will try again tomorrow. ..

Having an early bath and bed…

Hemmy well done on your loss. …

Sym glad you got there safely…

    Audrey

Thank you to everyone who said welcome. Well I’ve survived the first day. Slight headache but no more than I’ve had after a hectic day on a non fast normal day. No more hungry than normal so feel this is doable on a work day, not sure I’d survive trying a weekend yet. Even managed Clubbercise class before heading home for my tea. Just got to not pick at food before bedtime now

    Hi Aud

You will soon get back in the swing. IT is hard when we get out of our usual routine. You went to your Mums then had the girls over. It seems inevitable after a long time that we all seem to have blips. We are human after all.

Just one good day our Aud and it will gel again. Xx

    Hi Gin and Sym

So pleased all is going well on our first day. Do we weigh tomorrow again then and after every FD . Lol

Enjoyed my ham omelette and salad. Just feel a bit cold today. Kept busy though.

Also … I know I keep saying it but this fruit for me is a turning point. Not even thinking about bread products at all. Feel well… happy.. more energy.

Was coffee doing it too. Or did I imagine that. Lol

Gine.. will check those links out for some new recipes. Your days food sounded nice.

It is so amazing how losing again makes you feel so good. Good luck with the normal day tomorrow.

I am thinking … to have my fruit including it into lunchtimes then adding some nuts or cubes of cheese .. or any bits of protein. Even hard boiled egg.

Then protein and veg or Salad or a good thick homemade soup… in the evening

Are you still busy sorting this week. I am desperately trying to just do one thing at a time. Lol Very difficult as I am Queen of having about 4 things all on the go at once then getting tired. Lol Whatever you are doing have a nice day. Xx

Sym .. enjoy your trip to Chesterfield. .. I do so miss the outings Andrew and I used to have.
Often on an evening he would say lets go out for the day tomorrow… look on the map to find somewhere new to interest us. Its so easy to take those times for granted.
Have a lovely day… hope the sun shins on you both. Xx

KT how is it going for you my love. I so hope you are still sticking with us all… in our little corner. Xx

HI Blossom … Burstow … Deby.. welcome… good luck with this way of life. You will soon fit in. Xx

MM hope your first day has gone well. Xx

Karen … CC… Coffee.. WM… Clarkey and all hope you are OK. Xx

Well done munstermum sounds like you have done really well on your 1st fast. …congrats. …

    Audrey

    Hi Jean

Let me know what’s it’s like.

    Hi Audrey

As you know we all have those days once in a while, put it behind you and start again another day.

    Hi MM

Well done on getting through today, think you only have to wait until tomorrow to eat normally, this is the beauty of it.

    Hi Hemmy

I hope it gives me more energy. I have two uncut granary loaves in the fridge so I may have a nice slice tomorrow with some soup.

I wish I had only bought the one but this was before I knew that I would be on FBD this week. Thankfully it lasts a while. I have got butternut squash soup at the moment but I may also make some vegetable soup. This will keep me full and hopefully I won’t wake up too much with it. Trouble is that eating this in the evening that is just what it tends to do.

I agree a bit cold for salad today but it wouldn’t last much longer and I hate to waste it.

I shall log my loss once a week but I may sneak a look in between. I know the first week will be difficult for me as I had got into bad ways and will miss all if that.

    See you all tomorrow.

Morning all. Bit grey out there but that will probably lift like it did yesterday. Decided I need to do more things so I am going to aim not to be sat in front of the computer all day, reserving it for the evenings when I get most bored and therefore want to eat most.

Realised I forgot to say thank you for all the recipe links, so thank you πŸ™‚

Can I ask what sort of exercise is popular around these parts? I avoid high impact because of dodgy knees, but I love walking videos, yoga (mainly for stretching) and occasional dancey workouts, all of which I do at home as I am not a ‘joiner’ πŸ˜€ The thought of jiggling all me floppy bits in public is not appealing! I walk every day for an hour too. Slightly depressing that the my fitness app thing says that an hour of brisk walking only burns 39 calories! I swear it must be more than that, especially as some of it is uphill.

Also, how much is ‘1 cup’ of water? Honestly, the app says to drink at least 8 glasses a day, but it doesn’t seem to say how big that glass should be! As it happens I only drink water and herbal tea, and get through a 2 litre bottle every day so it isn’t an issue but it crossed my mind that it might be for someone starting out.

Lots of positive vibes going out to everyone battling the bulge – YOU CAN DO IT! Have a good day everyone.

    Hi Brits,

A really lovely morning, birds singing, sunny blue skies.

All is well here… First fast day weigh in.. Don’t think my scales are level..1… 2 lbs down. 2…1 lb up..3..1lb down… 1 think 1 lb down more realistic… I will log that one!

I am having a small beef dinner tonight.. Mimi said she went up to 1600 calories sometimes on NFD but I won’t be anywhere near that..cut lunch down or have a cuppa!

I have no alcohol with me!

800 calorie day tomorrow before FD.

Ginette.. I wouldn’t worry too much about bread just have 1 slice.. Opened sandwich or 1 slice of toast.. Mimi talks about cutting down and smaller portions..

It’s the cakes, sweets, 50/50 baking and alcohol.. White carbs…

We all will all be doing this ok generally.. ITS THE PORTIONS… Shouting loudly.. Am l listening. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Hemmy , Coffee, are you both ok. How’s things going.

Audrey.. You are doing well we all have ups and downs..

WM.. I don’t drink a lot of water all in tea and decaf coffee… I do try.. Generally doctors say that’s ok. Walking for me and hopefully swimming may start soon.

Speak later, some walking in Chesterfieldlater!

    Jean x

Good morning friends hope all is well with you and yours.
Just had a look on the scales and a lb down .. so no 1 I hope this week so far. Lol I am not being greedy but really very mindful. Its only 6 weeks. lol

Gine .. could you not slice that bread and freeze it or put it in whole and just pop it in the oven a mo when you take it out. Sounds very tasty.

I think I am going to put a chicken thigh into my veggie soup today… The bone enhances the flavour. Or maybe a few cubes of braising steak..

The hairy biker curry sounds appealing .. love curry.. but have in the past made it from a sauce jar.

    Hi Mojo

You are welcome to the recipe links, anything that helps. I too suffered from my knees. As you like games have you got a Wii. If you haven’t then they are quite inexpensive on eBay now. I started with small targets, 10 mins a day week one but I did more than this as it gave me a calorie count and was quite addictive. I wanted to reach a calorie target and do a bit better or master a level so did twice as much as I would. The good thing I found was that doing it at home I could do it before I got dressed or in the evening, I wasn’t jiggling about in front of anybody and I could stop when I got tired and then go back to it after a drink. The game I used was Wii fit plus again quite cheap to buy second hand.

With the water I think they measure a bout 8 ozs, which is a standard tumbler size. I found that after I had lost some weight (I was quite overweight so intially lost about 4 and a half stone well just over) and I have found this a tremendous difference to my knees. I read that a 1lb lost is 4lbs pressure off of the knees. I just need to be careful not to overdo some exercises.

When I post this I will see how much a Wii is to buy on eBay to give you some idea.

    Hi Jean

I haven’t planned dinner as I am up at Pams. I have told her that I have to really cut back and watch what I eat but last time I said this she made me a pie!!

I weighed today to get a starting weight. I am exactly at my post Christmas weight, a lot of food still in transit though, I’m hoping the fruit will sort that out.

Yes that’s what I thought. I usually have 2 X 800gm bread but this is 400g so allowing for a slightly thicker slice that should be 5/600 grams. I sometimes gave more than two a day especially when sorting out and I haven’t tine for a proper meal, still under calories but wrong types of food, just one of those bad habits I slipped back into. I have wholemeal or granary 95% of the time but I am sometimes tempted by a tiger loaf.

I don’t have big portions except perhaps of bad foods, so as they are banished for the next few weeks no problem there.

I drink a lit of water in tea and when it gets hot or I am exercising I drink a lot more. If I go out for a meal I have a pint of water, last week I had two as the dessert was so sweet, I am glad I kept most of it, which reminds me I need to email them about it.

I will check back in later.

Audrey I hope you have a better day.

    Ginette

    Hi Jean

I forgot to say well done on your loss. Sorry.

    Hi Hemmy posts crossed,

To find an inch of space in the freezer would be lucky, it will keep for a few weeks in the fridge so no worry there. I have had wholemeal for about two months. The fridge really helps.

I had a short night about 4 hours so know I will have a sleep in the chair before going to Pams, this is having the soup too late and having a sea kelp tablet as I can see I am retaining water. So got up to use the loo and then thought I would post.

Well done on your weight loss, yes they say that it should average out at 2lbs a week. I hope for this as a minimum but I wouldn’t be surprised to average out at a bit more given last years results. As long as I get below my target I shall be happy. Target is about 10lbs that will rake me to the next BMI category and into the next stone down always nice.

KT how are you doing, coffee, Celtic and others how are you all?

    Ginette

Thanks for that Ginette. I do have a WiiU and a board but found doing the wiifit plus very very boring so quit on it. Once I’ve lost a few pounds I might get it back out again, hide away in the spare bedroom and pound over the running course and get back into the step thing.

The info about the knees is very interesting and well worth knowing as both an incentive to get the weight off and a chance to expand which exercises I can do πŸ˜‰

    Hemmy….
I am not really counting the pound off until Friday when I am home.. But looks good as sometimes I am 2 lb up after the weekend!!

We are out and about having a cuppa …lovely day a very slight nip in the air.

    Hi Dear friends.

What a beautiful warm day… Finished off my car that is sparkling in the sunshine .. then mowed the lawns. Tired now putting my feet up for an hour before getting Mr Pips dinner.

Had a nice platter of salad … cheese .. and nuts for lunch. Eaten outside with my fingers … wonderful.

    Tonight having my chunky soup..

I am having hardly any carbs at all now …. No cravings at all. Also.. Not sure if I am imagining it but face skin feels less dry… softer. Lolol

Oh how I wish I had listen about those carbs. Fat isn’t our enemy at all.

Gine I am now wondering what Pam will have for you. Bless her… like Mum will buy me ginger nut biscuits and shortbread. Lol You can enjoy it then cut down when you get home. Xx

Sym ..Will be good if we can lose 2lb this week. What brilliant weather you chose. Xx

Aud … how are you doing today. Xx

Hope everyone else is doing Okay. Xx
