  • Gone off the idea of ravioli.33 hours past since I last had anything to eat. Still fancy the baked potatoe but could end up with chicken casserole. Another nice day but cold. Just had a cuppa but not desperate for food yet. Going to try Lidl today for our big shop. Never done it there before. I’ll see if they have butter beans Hemmy 🤣.Happy birthday Nanna hope you have a great day. Denise will be having breakfast soon so that will make me hungry 😱.

Lidl was rhubarb. Got to go shopping again now to Sainsbury’s to get what Lidl didn’t sell. Won’t be going there again.

    Good afternoon everyone. Xxxx

Its a chilly wind but at least no rain and we had sun while walking.

I don’t seem to be getting much achieved this week somehow.. feeling tired. I have ordered iron tablets.. Also I think in winter I miss the garden work.
I keep looking for a nice event to go to something different but nothing I fancy at the moment.

    50 days no alc

Nana ,,, Happy Birthday .have a lovely day. .Xx

Dave ,,, I found Lidl disappointing these days .. I shop at Tesco now. If I go to Bicester I use Sainsburys as well.
    Any butter beans about lolol.
What are you having for dinner in the end.

I hope everyone is having a good day.. If anything is worth doing, do it with all your heart.Xx

Hemmy they had butter beans at Lidl, didn’t get any though. Had to go to Sainsbury’s to get what Lidl didn’t sell. Will stick to Sainsbury’s.Tesco is the nearest supermarket to where I live and I would get 10% off if I shopped there but still don’t go. Had a sandwich so I have some food inside me after almost 40 hours without.

    Evening!
Nana- happy birthday to you, have a nice day!
Dave- really well done with your fast! I don’t mind going to Lidl or Aldi for a few bits but can’t get everything there, we go to Tesco’s, it’s alot further to go to Asda or Sainsbury’s…
Hemmy- hope the iron tablets help you, although you sound like you do lots & keep very fit!
Jean- how was petanque? Are you doing much crochet at the moment?
A nice walk with Xena, although quite achy…sorted out paperwork for Mum’s LPA, I’m making copies of everything I buy for her to be on the safe side, when my nan needed funding for her care home they went back over all the money, asked my uncle about a camera he’d bought for her years before! Although Mum will have to pay for care herself. Saw my sister for a cuppa, she’s away next week so will be on Mum duty. Got lots of cleaning done this afternoon. Shopping day tomorrow & youngest is coming for dinner.

    Evening All..
Very chilly here, thermals back on!
I went to play Petanque won, one lost one, then played to 4 points each so a draw… good game.

    Dave..
I really couldn’t fast like you, good if you can.

    Hemmy..
The changing weather gets to you.. we all want better weather. Clocks will be moving shortly it will help. Hope the iron tablets help.

    Hedgehog..
Like you I go to aldi as a main shop then last few bits at Tesco…
Yes I am on piece work with crochet, two octopus completed, two bodies done legs to do, a bunny nearly finished. I am running two things together.
Good idea to have copies of paperwork.

    Nana..
Happy Birthday hope you have had a good day.

    Night from us..
    Jean x

Good morning everyone cold here today, room on summer. Speedway first meeting is this Monday. So that’s good. Bowling season starts in 3 weeks. Hope I play better than on Monday. My new glasses will be done soon from Asda.I ordered varifocal ones with Polaroid lenses. If they are good I’ll be going there permanently. Jean think I’ll need my thermals today for bowling. I’m at my aunties funeral on Tuesday, she had dementia,my mother was just starting with it when she passed away. It seems that more and more people are getting it.I wonder if it’s hereditary. My dad was fine and so was his dad. No point worrying about it if it comes it comes.

    Good afternoon everyone.Xxxx

It s a mixed day here with the weather .. Warm this mornings walk I had to take my jacket off in the sunshine.. then at lunch time it went really cold again. without the sun.
I keep forgetting we haven’t even had Easter yet.. because of the very warm days in March I keep thinking we are further forward lol.
I still feel tired not sleeping well.. I think I must cut back on the time of my last water. I go to bed at 11pm.

Mushroom omelette with a bit of salad for dinner. Walnuts and some grapes.

H H .. a worrying time for you re your Mums paperwork.. These care homes are very expensive so it seems.
What is on the menu for your son this evening. I bet he is looking forward to his meal by Mum. lol.

Sym… Well done on yesterdays game…..I cant wait for warmer weather.. Your doing so well with the crochet I bet the school is pleased.
Do you have any plans to go to the States this year.

Dave.. You will soon be busy with the Bowling and Speedway.. you better get your skates on with the decorating lol.
Its so very sad going to funerals was your Auntie a good age.

I hope everyone is having a good day .. “It is often the small steps, not the giant leaps, that bring about the most lasting change.” Xxxx

    Afternoon!
Dave- sad about your Auntie…yes, Alzheimer’s can be hereditary I think, my Nan, her sister & brother all had dementia, now Mum as well, no hope for me! I guess people are living longer, plus so many more chemicals in everything affect us I think…
Hemmy- Easter is late this year, very changeable here too today. Have you ever tried magnesium supplements? They can sometimes help with energy & sleep.
Jean- well done with your petanque, & the crochet …
Doing sweet chilli salmon for us tonight, with rice & some veggies & salsa for me. Shopping was okay but we’d just got down the road & I realised I’d not got my list, what was I saying about dementia 😂
Got a course tomorrow for HomeStart, so might try a FD, be brave & not take a packed lunch!
Have a good evening everyone 🥰

    Evening All..
Very bitter here today so cold walking am.. then pm walk it was heavy hailstone, Charlie didn’t like it and we got wet through!

Shopping for wool and stuffing, busy crocheting, housework tomorrow and my bathroom blind is being fitted. Hope I like it as I was unsure.

Enjoying my coffees, a bit more milk than usual but very filling.

    Dave..
Definitely thermals, mine back on, I did miss them when I took them off. Sad on aunties funeral. Makes us think as we get older.

    Hemmy…
I am not going to Texas as they have stopped my direct Manchester plane and I have to go to Heathrow.
I am going to Tenerife in June and catching up with Katie and family for two weeks, she then comes back with me with Charlotte, the others flying back home. Her Dad and wife are there at the same time so she will she them too.(not me!).
My milky coffee is very filling I think of you when I am having it 😂.
I go to bed at 10.30 my last drink is about 5pm.

    Hedgehog..
This dementia is frightening I hope I don’t get it!
I am hoping healthy eating and no smoking, not too much of processed food will help. 🤞🏻
My list is on my phone so I don’t forget and I delete as it goes in the trolly…

    Jean x

Stairs are done. Next I’ve got to strip the living room and paper it Doors to be painted.Hemmy my Aunt was 88 so not a bad innings. She kept falling so went into a care home. In just about on my limit for food allowance.I try to eat so that’s I will lose 2lbs per week so that allows me a bit of leeway of I go over. I’m taking my time with the decorating, Denise is not well but won’t say what’s wrong.

Turns out she has a phone appointment with the GP about her thyroid. That could explain a lot about her problems. Only trouble is that the appointment is not until the 7th of April.Hemmy over taken a leaf out of you book and I’m having a milky coffee for breakfast.HH good luck with the home start course. I got up and Chloe is all sprawled out on the sofa. She wasn’t happy when I told her to get off so I could sit down and straight away she got back up when I sat down. May have a salad for tea although they are not the best of food when it’s cold outside.

    Good Afternoon everyone. Xxxx

Ohh its a bitterly cold day the wind is very sharp. Good for woollens drying on the line they will be lovely and soft.
Just had a late lunch again.. I cant seem to make it earlier. Crispbreads cheese and red onion chutney. grapes.. Trouble is now I wont want any dinner as such. Perhaps wait till about 7pm and have some egg and bacon.
I must adjust my timings..lol Like my friend is always saying. ” The time runs away with me” lol

Nana … Hoping you had a lovely time away for B Day celebrations.

Dave.. Did you enjoy the milk coffee .. I have a big breakfast cup full its good for you and I find with a bit of suger or honey its very filling.
its awful the long waits to see anyone in the medical field. Its not right Denise should not have to keep waiting. They should sort things out bless her

H H I have been taking Magnesium tabs.. trying the iron now.. Trouble is i am erratic a very all or nothing person with doing things ..as Mum used to say
“Carol goes over the top” lol
How did your Home start course go today.. Did you manage to do an FD.

Sym.. My friend said she finishes her drinks at 5pm.. couldnt believe I was still drinking water at 10.30 lol … I must admit it does sound silly lolol but I had never thought about it. lol
I would imagine its easier for you to meet up with daughters family this side of the world..as you travel alone. June to look forward too.

Enjoy your afternoon everyone.. “Whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go, just remember how far you have come.” Xxxx

    Evening!
Jean- sounds good to be having a holiday with Katie & family…yes, the dementia is scary, Mum has always done sudoku puzzles, she was convinced that would keep her brain okay, obviously didn’t work!
Dave- what a worry with Denise, hard for you when she won’t talk… don’t understand the wait with her GP, they could be prescribing her medication for thyroid already! I would be on the phone hassling them if it was me!
Hemmy- good you don’t get hungry & can have a late lunch…I drink water all through the evening, I’m lucky I’m not up in the night!
The course was really interesting, mental health in pregnancy & post birth, the team are doing really good work with families, they don’t even have a waiting list, see people straight away, but she said some of them work weekends as well to keep it that way! It was freezing in the hall, & not eating didn’t help, but I did okay, went for a lunchtime walk as well. Made sausage rolls for hubby when I got home, egg salad for me tonight. Shouldn’t really laugh but Mum went with a friend to a hospital appointment, to the memory clinic, a shame they didn’t test Mum too!

    Morning All..
Meeting Natalie this morning.. just picked up the text.

A surprise at weigh in.. 3 lbs off…???
    Coffee and crocheting ???

My holiday is booked with Katie and family in Tenerife.. chasing my taxi driver now, he’s not quick on returning calls.

    Dave..
Well done on getting the stairs done. Hoping the fasting goes well..

    Hemmy..
Looks like my coffee’s are working, just had a cup of tea it doesn’t taste as nice as usual.
I had tuna and mayo on crackers last night, it was a change, a full tin is only 100 calorie’s .
Still very bitter here I have got soaked twice with heavy showers. I got my over trousers out again.

    Hedgehog..
I can’t believe you drink water till that time, I would be up all night. Jacqui has a bedtime cup of tea.. I would never think of it.. maybe 2” of cold milk.
Glad the course was interesting not in a cold hall !!
We have to both hope no dementia for us!

    Have a good day everyone..

    Jean x

Morning everyone, a busy birthday week plus a meal out with my old workmates last night meant a gain of two pounds on the scales this morning.
Jean well done on your loss and a nice holiday to look forward to.
Dave I never have breakfast as it makes me hungry also. A shame Denise has to wait so long for her Dr’s appointment. Hopefully decorating is almost finished.
Hedgehogs you’re being busy as usual, I never drink after 8pm unless I’m out enjoying a wine 😉
Hemmy have been enjoying a few rides out on Geraldine, however, we got soaked on the ride home from our usual Wednesday lunch and it was such a bitterly cold wind also.
Daughter is travelling down today to pack up the rest of her stuff and then my army grandson has hired a van and will drive her back tomorrow calling in at her old home on the way to collect her other stuff left there.
A busy weekend ahead for me, hope everyone else has a good one.
    Nana xxx

    Good afternoon everyone. Xxxx

Some sunshine today but still very cold after the high temps of last weekend. .
Ended the week with a good weigh in.. I have lost 1lb so lighter than before Xmas weight.
I am back to enjoying Crispbreads instead of bread .. I am loving the Ryvita green pack very grainy nutty topped. I think it does make a difference rather than eating bread.

Nana .. Its sounds like its been a busy birthday week ..you will soon lose the 2 lbs.It will be lovely for your daughter to get all her things back to her new home… nice to have your things around you.
    Day 53 no alc

Dave.. What’s for tea at yours today. Hope Chloe approves it

H H Interesting meeting for you .. You sound like you are a peoples person and relate to people and their problems. .
Do you make your sausage rolls with shortcrust pastry… or puff.

Sym.. Well done on your 3lbs off this week that’s brilliant. You will be getting all your clothes sorted for your June holiday.. it will soon come around.

Enjoy your day all… “You will face many defeats in life, but never let yourself be defeated.” Xxxx

Hemmy can’t decide what to have for tea. Think it will be steak bakes poached eggs and mushy peas. Maybe a few frozen chips. The roofers were supposed to come today but no sign of them😠. My son’s gone to the midlands to watch wrestling then come back tomorrow to watch it again. He goes all over to watch it. Just cleaned the cupboard out and found a tin of stewed steak so warmed it up added kibble and have it to Chloe. She had a sniff and left it but I’m sure she will have it all before bedtime. She’s just kicked everything off Denise’s sofa and jumped up. Normally suits next to me, must fancy a change.

Good morning everyone still cold but dry. No sign of roofers think I may need to contact citizens advice for help. My son is coming home from the midlands and his train as been cancelled so he had to get a later train and stand up all the way home because his seat was booked on the train that was cancelled.

    Happy Saturday everyone. Xxxx

Its a freezing cold windy day here but its been non stop sunshine So I expect a perfect March day. A good long morning walk.

Its been very quiet in the village today .. Pip and I did go in the garden for about 30 minutes this afternoon.. I picked some lovely little miniature daffodils a bit of spring in the lounge.

I am having my favourite of the moment for dinner A jacket potato with prawns in garlic and parsley butter. I expect I will have it so much then be frd up with it lol.
Kristy here Friday till Sunday so that will be nice to catch up.

Nana H H Sym Hope you are having a good day..Xx

Dave.. Trading Standards is another good body to contact re workmanship. Trades really are frightened to get involved with them as they can close businesses down.
What a shame your son is having that hassle with the trains it seems quite frequent now with trains and buses.. Hope he got back ok.

    Enjoy your evening everyone..

Make time for the little things that bring you joy. Xxxx

I’ve sent a WhatsApp to citizens advice to see what they recommend. I’ll have a look at trading standards, thanks Hemmy. It’s very cold here today can’t get warm. Roast chicken tomorrow for tea so Chloe will be on red alert all day. I’m sat in front of the fire and it’s 26°C but I feel very cold.

    Evening All..
A long day today… weather a bit better not so cold here. Went to chippy for dinner, Charlie was excited he got a sausage..

    Seeing Jacqui tomorrow..

    Nana..
You will soon loose your couple of pounds. Hope you had a good birthday week. Your house will be feel empty after all Karen’s stuff is moved out, if will feel strange.

    Hemmy..
Well done on another pound off you must feel so good. You are very steady holding goal.
Holiday all booked now and taxi.. just waiting now. I have all my clothes… so all sorted.

    Dave..
Such a shame about the roof it seemed to be all under control.. hope it gets sorted out.
Your poor son and trains it’s a nightmare..

    Jean x

Good morning everyone,I had a look at trading standards Hemmy. They say contact them directly or via Citizens advice. So I’ve already contacted them. They only work Monday to Friday so hopefully should hear something soon. A nice sunny day here but still nippy. Jean yes the trains are a nightmare,I said to him he should have kept up with the driving, but I think he’s afraid of driving, Denise was the same. Her brother and sister both drive but not her.I think I might try and give up bread from tomorrow for 17 days. That would be a big help for my final weigh-in at MoreLife.I days to all the ladies let’s try and all lose 4lbs for the last month.

    Good morning everyone. Xxxx

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.. Its hopefully getting warmer this week thank goodness.

I am looking forward to Kristy coming this week I feel I need some young blood around to liven me up lol.
I have been reading a lot and really into these Agatha Raison books by M C Beaton. completely different to my usual reads but loving them. Apparently there was a TV series but I like to use my imagination with the book version

2 months today no wine. Not missing it at all now.. Still feeling tired missing the sugar apparently it can last for months,.

I think a nice chunky soup would be good today .. get all the odd bits out and into the croc pot.

Dave .. I hope you have some luck re the roofers with the organisations…. were they local to you.
Re bread i have really come to the conclusion its not what we eat its the volume. I also think some foods and drink trigger you to want more almost like a drug .. That’s wine with me. lol

Sym… Did you have some nice Mum and Daughter time with your daughter yesterday..
What are you upto this week.

Nana and HH .. I hope you had a lovely weekend. Xx

Enjoy your day everyone.. It’s dog’s world and we are just living in it lolol Xxxx

Hemmy 41 days with alcohol and day 1 of no bread. Having a milky coffee for breakfast, going bowling at 12-30 and speedway tonight. It’s always cold the first few meetings at speedway so got my thermal vest on already. I’ll look later if I got a reply from Citizens advice. Chloe was charged at by a French bulldog last night it was loose and had no collar on. I kept standing in between them but it was very fast. I got it to run off but as soon as we started walking it came running back. Chloe barked at it which is unusual as she never barks at all. That didn’t work so she went for it. Which is even more unusual as she usually backs away. She snapped at it 3 times then a woman seen what was happening and knows Chloe is afraid so she managed to hold it back while we got away. I was worried the little dog would get injured.

    Morning All..
Lovely walk at the park, Charlie gets so excited when he gets there, so many smells, I suppose.
Our cows will be out shortly so I shall try and go to the park a couple of times a week.

Taking my three pair of walking trousers to get altered, they seem so long. I could do them but I shall let the lady do them, they are faffy to do.

Boiler service tomorrow hope he comes early so I can go to boules but it will be tight.

    Hemmy..
I had a lovely day with Jacqui, SIL fussy as his new coffee maker had arrived..
Bacon butties and Victoria sponge, she was taught well it was delicious.
Then took the boy out, then Katie rung..
She was on the phone 2 hours.50 mins..
Children had been off school last week so a lot to catch up on 😂
Enjoy your time with Kirsty.. shall you eat out like last time?

    Dave..
They are naughty leaving your roof in a state. It’s the hard thing chasing them up. I thought it was only me who had problems.
I am not the best driver away from my area I get lost easy!!!
I have no choice on driving now I just have too..
    Omelette tonight..

    Jean x

Hmm…I did post over the weekend but it hasn’t shown on here, site error, or more likely operator error 😂
Hemmy- nice to have Kristy’s visit to look forward to …you do sound faddy with your food, having new favourites alot & then getting fed up with them, my boys were always like that…
Jean- Glad you had a nice visit with Jacqui, & when do you go away with Katie?
Dave- poor Chloe being accosted by another dog! I hope you can sort something out with the roof company, small claims court otherwise? It might be a bit too much money for that though, not sure what the limit is …CAB are usually very helpful though, so 🤞 Good luck with no bread …
Nana- hope your daughter has got everything sorted in her new flat, & the job goes well…you must miss her 🤗
Saturday was busy doing cooking & cleaning, saw Mum as well as sis is on holiday. Both boys came & eldest’s gf, a very nice evening. Stuck to keto… Had a lazier day yesterday. Taking Mum to a local history group talk shortly, a lady talking about her experience in WW2, in the land army & Wrens, hopefully will be good. Seeing how I get on today with fasting, I am hungry but deliberately haven’t got anything out for me!
    Have a good day xx

I’m hungry now only had a biscuit and drinks. Going to speedway soon so no time to eat. I’ll have something when I get home. I think small claims would cost me £750, I’ve contacted cab on WhatsApp and they did a lot of statements about privacy so see what happens tomorrow.

Good afternoon back from the funeral and done the shopping. Day 2 of no bread. Went ok yesterday but I was very busy. Not sure what to have for tea. May be a waggy burger. Tried my new specks out driving in the sun. They were good. I like Polaroid lenses.

    Good afternoon everyone. Xxxx

What an absolutely glorious day .. lovely to walk with my coat off.
I am just going back in the garden.. lots todo inside but its a shame to miss this sunny day .

I hope everyone is having a lovely day whatever you are doing.

Beauty is everywhere. You only have to look to see it.Xxxx

    Evening All..
    Up and long walk.
I had a new water meter fitted outside, thought they were going to dig up the pavement, he said lucky I think I can manage without doing it.. so a 15 minute job.
Boiler service and he came early so managed to get to Petanque.
Won three games at boules my new eyes are proving to be good !

    Hedgehog..
We go away on the 6th June for 16 nights, Katie’s friends are joining us the first week, 2 adults and 2 children, 5 of us, then second week on our own.
Sounds interesting the talk with the wren.

    Hemmy..
I walked with my fleece on, weather picking up now. Nice for you to get your garden jobs done.

    Dave..
Enjoy your saggy burger, you are doing well. I had my sun glasses on today very bright.

    Jean x

    Evening!
Dave- well done with no bread, hope the funeral wasn’t too bad …
Jean- well done with your bowling! Good you got your boiler done. The holiday sounds good!
Hemmy- don’t blame you enjoying the garden while it’s nice, the indoors can wait!
The talk yesterday was really good, Mum enjoyed it to & it was something different for her to do. Managed to fast until dinner tonight, so a 48hr fast. We went out as it was so nice, went to Dedham & had a nice walk along the river. Did have a cuppa out but no food 😇

I’ve got to ring citizens advice, I’ll do it on Thursday when I have lots of time after I drop the car off for it’s MOT. Would have loved some bread this evening but did without😇😇. So day 3 without bread tomorrow.

Good morning everyone,a nice sunny day so my sunglasses will be going on. Definitely not shorts weather yet. Day 3 of no bread. I’ve not had a bread substitute so doing well, never gone more than a week without bread so I’ll see how long I’ll go this time.

    Good afternoon everyone Xxxx

Another beautiful warm day.. lovely walking without a coat.

Before walking I shampooed my lounge carpet.. it always gets grubby at this time of year after the winter. Dried well in the sun coming through the windows.
Its nice too giving the heating a break lol.
I am making do today with food as its shopping tomorrow. .. Yesterday I threw away leeks and carrots.. I must use more things up. So a cheese and bacon omelette and baked beans.

H H lolol you are spot on I am faddy awful as a child.. my gran was always telling Mum off saying I should eat what I was given lolol Luckily Dad was faddy too so It was ok for me to get away with it . . lol
I had got better with the men in my life but left to my own devices now I have reverted back lol.

Lovely that your Mum enjoyed the talk ..something different for her. ..
Well done not having cake with your tea out.

Dave.. Well done with no bread that should make a big difference to the scales.
My neighbour a male fisherman has lost 2 stone .. he has a smaller dinner plate.. and cut out a lot of carbs .he has lost 2 stone quite quickly. .

Sym.. A busy week for you getting your jobs done and well done on winning your games yesterday ..
Your holiday will soon come around now.. something to look forward to.

Nana.. are you out and about today .. lovely weather for giving Geraldine a spine.

Enjoy the afternoon everyone.. “Halfway to the weekend, let your determination shine! Xxxx

    .

Good afternoon everyone. I’m stiff as a board now, played bowls for 3.5 hours. So I’ll be crawling up the stairs on all fours tonight. Mince and new potatoes for tea with beans or peas whatever Denise gives me. Hemmy have you got the butter beans yet😁. When do the cows come out Jean. Car in for it’s MOT tomorrow hope it passes.

    Morning All..
A lovely day very chilly I might have a slow start and then down grade my coat.

No fasting today as I have Jacqui coming after school, so I have made coconut and oat cookies and cooking a chicken I shall do salad as she is cooking back.

    Dave..
I think the cows will be out by the end of the month, especially now the weather is getting warmer. The large pond type lake is almost dry they will need water. Hope your cars ok on MOT.

    Hemmy..
Well done cleaning the carpet ready for the better weather. I am very picky eater..as you say, I cooked for my men/visitors but not for me, back to childhood favourites!!
    Grass needs cutting..

    Hedgehog..
That’s a long fast, I couldn’t do that… see if the scales are kind..

    Jean x

Good morning everyone up early, car as to be in at 8am. Why they do it in the middle of the night is beyond me. I’ll put Chloe in the boot and she can have a nice walk back home. The mechanic as got a whippet, he said on Sundays it’s sits at the table and as Sunday dinner. Chloe is that tall she could reach the table top easily. I better get moving.

I’ve contacted citizens advice about the roof, had to phone the consumers department, they have sent me a template letter to send to the roofers. And said they will also pass on my complaint to trading standards. So once I get my car back I’ll look into sending the roofers the letter, they said I’d I don’t get a reply after a fortnight to get back in touch with CAB I have a reference number for my case. So wish me luck with it. 🤞🤞🤞

Got the car back all ok so that’s a blessing, lovely weather today 18°C hotter than Cyprus. Shorts will be out soon at this rate. Walked a couple of miles already today taking the car and picking it up. Chloe wasn’t impressed,I had to pull her all the way. She would happily sleep for 24 hours.

    Good evening everyone Xxxx

Its been a beautiful day a really high temperature for March.

Lovely for walking the trees and shrubs all starting to bud up. ,,we just have to hope we dont get all last years rain.

After walking I went and did a big shop although we will eat out Saturday and Sunday lunch.
A nice treat for us both not to have to cook.
My weight this morning is good my best ever weight for years. I never had much in I fancied yesterday but I have tonight lolol. Oh dear .

Nana.. was it out to lunch today.

Dave …Very well done getting your car through MOT all good for another year. Hopefully you will hear from the roofers and they will sort the work out. Are they a local company to you. Still no butter beans in Tesco or Coop … will look in M&s Saturday. lol

H H ..What have you been doing today. Anything planned for the weekend.

Sym .. Your cookies sound tasty. .lovely having Jacqui for tea. I havnt cut my grass yet I usually wait till end of March in case of frosts.

Have a good evening all.. “You can do anything you put your heart, mind and soul into.” Xxxx

Hemmy the roofers are about 15 miles away from me.I think it’s been passed on to trading standards.i have to send a letter or email to the roofers, they then have 2 weeks to reply. I have a case number to quote to citizens advice if they don’t get in touch. I’ll do it all tomorrow. Day 4 with no bread, it’s been difficult today but done it.

    Evening!
Glad everyone is okay & enjoying the lovely weather!
Yesterday was busy, we did the shopping, & did some cooking. Dropped shopping off to Mum, then later did her a dinner, took that round but she couldn’t hear the door bell! Sneaked in & left it inside, went home & rang her, she heard that in the end! She won’t wear her hearing aids & has the TV so loud… Did some cleaning as well, done less today, very achy…had a long walk with Xena, we went out to a village by the river, watched the boats for a bit. Youngest son came tonight, tried a new recipe – chicken stuffed with roast peppers & mozzarella, mixed reviews! I just had the one meal today, hope the scales are okay!

Good morning everyone got to go to the bowling club today and have a tidy up. The season starts in a fortnight so we get things neat and tidy.Chicken casserole for tea tonight. Only had one meal each day this week so hopefully it will show when I next get weighed. I like this time of year when all the buds open up and the trees will be green instead of bare.Looks like it will be another good day weather wise.

    Good morning everyone. xxxx

It looks to be a lovely day again.. Earlier walk for us today.

I am pleased with the mornings weigh in.. just under goal weight. Its so funny and I have said before as soon as I stop wine my appetite decreases.. Its like people that have stopped smoking want a cigarette after drinking.

    Day 60 no alc

Nana .. hope you are having a good week.

Dave.. I bet it will be lovely to start bowling again especially if this weather continues. Enjoy your Chicken casserole later.

H H .. Are you taking any supplements for your aches.. Those stuffed chicken breasts sounded yummy.

Sym.. Have a lovely weekend .. anything planned. I think I might do my grass earlier this year the weather looks settled. Maybe while Kristy’s taking Pip out.

Have a lovely weekend everyone… I am on holiday now till Sunday evening see you then

Seize the day and enjoy it. Xxxx

    Evening!
Have a lovely weekend Hemmy! I’m taking magnesium most days, alternating sodium & potassium, electrolytes get a bit low with keto…hubby has cut our grass a couple of times already, it’s so long…
Dave- hope you haven’t overdone it at the bowling club!
Jean- hope you had a good day!
    Nana- same for you…
Just lost half a pound this week.
Xena just had a short walk as I had to ring my HomeStart family, did some scent work with her in the garden later. Went to an Aqua fit class, really enjoyed it, & hopefully easier on the joints than aerobics! Didn’t eat until afterwards, was too hungry to wait until this evening…

Good morning everyone,I stayed in bed today but wasn’t asleep. Wanted to let Denise get some sleep. Still not heard anything from the roofer so will send them an email what citizens advice helped me with. It will tell them to get it fixed or I will be taking it further. The scaffolding is being taken down now at this very moment.

    Evening!
Dave- I hope you get a response from the roofers, so frustrating! I’d have been tempted to take the tools & bits they left in your yard for a while!
Xena had a really good run about on our walk today, people were laughing as we drove down the road, she was barking so loud as usual!
We popped into town, went to Hotel Chocolat to buy bits for eldest son’s birthday, they were giving away free samples, couldn’t resist a chocolate, probably half my cards for the day 🤭
Saw Mum this afternoon & helped her do her shopping order- the Sainsbury’s site is awful, it took ages to load…I wanted to get her a Tesco’s one but you can’t order without a clubcard, & she couldn’t find hers…Lazy evening.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend 🥰

    Evening All..
Had a very eating week… must pull my socks up!

    Hedgehog.
    I haven’t done much I felt a bit flat.
Xena likes her scent training, I have never tried it.

    Hemmy..
Enjoy your two lunches out and catch up with Kirsty.

    Dave..
I hope they sort the roof without taking it further. It’s so annoying. Yes lots of buds on the trees the birds are singing too.

    Jean x

Good afternoon everyone, today beef and Yorkshire pudding 😋😋😋😋. It’s a big piece so Chloe will do well tonight. Made the batter last night and have just peeled the spuds. Day 7 without bread which means day 7 of only one meal per day. I’ll just hang on as long as I can next week without bread. It is getting difficult now. I’ll be getting like the Charlie Chaplin film when he was starving and everything he looked at turned into a chicken. It will be bread instead of chicken with me🤣🤣🤣. It’s a waiting game now with the roofers.
