  • Evening!
Hemmy- so sad about Wesley, he’s done well for a king Charles…hugs to you & Pips for losing his friend too šŸ˜¢
Dave- you’re doing well not eating bread, you do lose lots without it, I know you don’t like weighing too often but it might give you a boost to keep going?
Jean- hope that your eyes are okay, it’s not been that long since the surgery I guess …
    Hope everyone else is okay?
It’s been dreary here all day, but still nice to see the sea sitting in bed with a cuppa first thing! We enjoyed the fish & chips, I went for a long walk along the cliff path, surprisingly steep, so I walked some of it off at least! We’re home tomorrow, but the owner said no rush to leave as nobody else is booked in. Hubby wants to go to North Walsham on the way home, his Great, Great Grandad ran the pub there years ago, we think it’s a tea room now…

    Hemmy..
So sorry to hear about Westley, so sad when the time is up. You will all miss him and company on walks.

    Dave..
Hope you can start sleeping in again maybe when the roof is finished.

    Hedgehogā€¦
The walk along the cliff sounds lovely.. enjoy your day at North Walsham .. we have been there a few times. Eyes seem fine they were tired yesterday so stopped my crocheting a bit.

Jab tomorrow for the lung, I missed it last time.. a one offā€¦

Good morning everyone, the roofer as just turned up. Day 5 of no bread, think I’ll manage to do the week.No bread also means no butter so plenty of calories saved. I’ll get weighed in February. Feel stiff this morning didn’t help that Chloe was on my bed and lay across it instead of by my side.

    Evening!
Back home, had to pick Xena up a bit early as she’d been sick, she’s fine now! Didn’t get to see much of North Walsham, but we found what used to be the pub, it’s now a holiday cottage…
Hope the roofers get done okay Dave & it doesn’t rain!
Hope the jab’s okay tomorrow Jean šŸ¤—

They did very well today took all the slates off and put up new batons and felt and a few tiles. Said it might be all done on saturday.5th day off no bread, really hard today. I think Monday I will eat a loafšŸ˜ˆšŸ˜ˆšŸ˜ˆ. Costing a fortune to have the roof done so no cruise this year in fact no holiday at all šŸ˜.

    Evening All..

I have had a good fast day. Jab done she was very gentle, arm still normalā€¦lots of thinking on my bathroomā€¦going on a revamp not a full bathroom. Lots of things are still excellent see what he thinks on Tuesday.

    Dave..
Very hard workers hope the weather keeps good.

    Hedgehog..
Hope Xenaā€™s ok now. Itā€™s a shame the pub is now a cottageā€¦. Still you could go and stay ?

    Nana..
Have a good time away ā€¦

Hemmy, Kay and Couscous hope you are all okā€¦

    Good morning everyone. xxxx

A grey chilly day here after all the lovely sunshine.. I expect it is January though and to be expected.

Just weighed and I am now 5lbs up than pre Xmas and happy weight. Its exactly the same story as last year .. I put the lbs on after Christmas eating up remains… somethings I am not even really enjoying lolol.
Must start property on Monday will bin anything left. .. buy no treats spend the money on really nice fruit and veg.

Will check in later as out charity shopping at noon with Chris and need to get out over the fields with Pip first.

I hope the scales are good for you this morning.. Togetherā€¦ We Can and We Will Xxxx

Good morning everyone a dry day so far, waiting for the roofers to arrive. They left the tiles outside the front window in what Denise calls the garden , we used to have a few privates, now it’s concrete with a wall. I was worried they would have disappeared in the night. Around here if it’s not fastened down it goes. Costing a lot more than original quote. Need new beams so it’s almost wiped us out. Will have to try and save but not easy on a pension. Were not destitute but much worst off than a week ago.Day 6 without bread today. It’s been very difficult but hanging on.

Roof almost done at the front don’t know about the back. Pointing to be done on the chimney so they said should all be done by Monday. They have been very good and hard working. My son is cooking tonight noodles and teriyaki beef so hopefully it will be good.

    Evening All..
A lovely walk and then had coffee at Christineā€™s as she had a joiner in the house working.

Popped to the bathroom shop to asks a few questions and collected more booksā€¦ everything is so expensive. I can see it costing more as Daveā€™s has. I am hoping to reuse some of the cupboard units. See what the plumber thinks. My tiles are very good so may get away with some of that.

I have stayed the same this week.. I have lost half a pound but I donā€™t count half poundsā€¦

    Hemmy..
Hoping your weight soon moves, itā€™s always hard to restart again. Hope you had a good walkā€¦

    Dave..
The roofers have been very good and about finished, wish the plumber would move just a bit quicker. Hope you enjoy your meal tonight.

    Have a good weekend everyone..

    Jean x

They have been great but very expensive Ā£15500. Had to have new beams chimney pointed me lead obviously all new tiles. So definitely no holiday this year. Not easy to save up when retired.I doing go out very much these days, apart from bowling.

    Evening!
Dave- that’s rotten, the roof costing so much šŸ˜ Well done keeping off the bread with all that stress & the early starts..
Jean- big decisions for your bathroom, not easy…Glad your arm is okay after the injection. I looked up the old pub/ holiday cottage online, it’s not got any character or old features, not very appealing!
Hemmy- you’ll soon get those 5lbs off, you’re very disciplined! Did you find anything good in the charity shops? I found a really nice jumper when we were away.
Nana, Kay, Couscous, hope you’re all doing okay?
I did put on 2lbs on our break, so strict keto now! My stomach is too iffy to try proper fasting so will just hope it comes off by being careful.
Did shopping today, youngest has a lurgy so won’t see him, saw mum & hopefully have sorted her bank card & reset security questions, it was funny trying to do that as Mum kept getting all the backup questions wrong, we got there eventually! At least we could laugh about it, better than crying šŸ˜‚
Hope you all have a good weekend!

Hello all. Yesterday, Thursday 16th was 14 days in with a loss of 11 lb. Sadly went out on the evening to meet a friend.. in the pub…as you do. 2 cans alcohol free Guinness but returning home a bottle of Chardonnay and a cheese sarnie….bugger, (oops sorry). Today a reasonably good day, first and only meal at 6.00pm, bacon, scrambled eggs x2 and mushrooms. Followed I am afraid by a small bowl of Vanilla ice cream with mixed nuts. Not too bad a day I suppose. A good friend tells me he is also pre T2 but he does not really understand how serious it will be if he does contract T2. I really did have a job on my hands to get him to understand how serious his position is. Hopefully his wife will speak sense to him and get him on a diet. The weekend will see me relaxing the diet somewhat. Stay safe and well out there.

Good evening F B Brit friends. Xxxx

Its been a nice day.. lots of sunshine and blue sky. Good day out..
I found a lovely Radley tan leather bag like new. .lots of nice detail..usually retail at Ā£70.. but got it for Ā£10.

When we left for home at 5pm we called at a really old established Banbury Fish n chip shop .. we had only had a coffee .. Oh they were delicious really enjoyed them plenty of salt and vinegar lol plus a glass of wine.

Not weighing now till Monday morning. I will be back in full 5 2 mode lol. Bread will be replaced with Crispbreads again.

Nana .. hope you have had a good day.

Dave.. Ohh that’s a bad blow re your roof price…. Building work is so expensive now. I think lack of people in the trades is the problem they can name their own prices. Well done on no bread..

H H …You did well with your weight on your break.. Start again on Monday.. I hope your son soon shifts the bug. Banking not straight forward these days hard for Mum.

C C .. Sometimes time is the essence and maybe at times our bodies need the extra calories Even though it messes with our healthy eating plans .

Sym.. Dont forget with the plumber .. its what you want.. if you think bits are ok I would insist on leaving them.. Its all money to them .

.Enjoy your evening .. ā€œThe secret of happiness is not in doing what one likes, but in liking what one does.ā€ Xxxx
    .

Just dug the crockpot out, beef and veg in it. Will be glad when the roof is all done and the scaffolding gone. Cold today only 2Ā°C. Took Chloe out and a white van let me cross the road in front of him, he stopped and opened the window and was smiling at Chloe’s hat. He said I thought I was seeing things a dog in a bobby hat šŸ˜†šŸ˜‚.Day 7 of no bread, it’s been difficult but will get there now.

Well I’ve booked an holiday in Haworth Yorkshire dales. Heard lots about it when I was at work so now I’ll be able to have a good look myself. Going the day before our 50th wedding anniversary so will celebrate it there. Just pleased to be going away, never missed a year without some kind of holiday. How are you all doing?

    Evening All..
Chilly day again and a mucky walk.. well wrapped so I was fine everyone was saying how cold it was.. I was fine.
I had a few hours with my daughter and SIL, heā€™s not well again since William went back to Perth, he is feeling down again, not eating at all. Hope he picks up for the holiday.
I have had two munching days so must think more tomorrow..

    Dave ..
The roof was expensive, I think mine will be more than the 5k, the plumber needs at least 2k for fitting. Good you have booked a cottage something to look forward too.

    Hedgehog..
I must admit all these passwords are a nightmare.. not only for your mum. Hope your son soon feels better.. I am sniffing a lot and nose blowing maybe from my jabā€¦

    Couscous..
Brilliant news on 11 lbs off.. a really good start. Hard for your friend if they donā€™t understand T2..

    Hemmy..
What a good bargain on your bag. My daughter picks up a few bags in Texas, itā€™s one charity shop what does the designer bags. She picked up a leather travel computer bag/ briefcase for hubby when he travels, just about unused $300 she paid $70ā€¦its cleaning down the bathroom tomorrow, radiator, glass shower screen, see how shiny I can get them šŸ˜‚ I am keeping the run of units and toilet. They are like newā€¦they will do!

Hi all, some interesting posts that I do enjoy reading, giving me a good idea of you all. Taking this rather intense journey has made me think about changing my approach to make it less of a challenge. I think I have shown how some slight changes can impact on my approach to fasting as my post about meeting up with a friend in a local pub showed. However there are also some incidents totally unexpected that can also lead to a Fast Day going off the rails. Last night, 17th having had a good Fast day, around 10.00pm my wife and I heard 3 loud bangs outside our home. (We live on a modern private housing estate where the houses are really close together. My next door neighbour being only a metre away from our home.) She looked outside and to her horror next doors garage was on fire. So intense that it blew the closed garage door clean off. I had to move our car off the drive to safety and the Fire Brigade arrived to put the fire out. Needless to say the garage interior was utterly destroyed and the experience was unnerving to say the least. Our good neighbours on the opposite side insisted on us both going in to their house to ensure our safety. So good to have such caring neighbours. So, an hour later, when the fire was out and we returned to our home safe and sound but with me a little unsteady on my feet. Due of course to being offered and accepting several glasses of excellent single malts. I have to say a perfect reason to break my perfect Fast that day. But, as they say, “Tomorrow is another Day”. Stay safe out there.

Good evening FB Brit friends. xxxx

Its been a cold dark ole day today. missed the sunshine.

We had a good walk with village lady and her terrier Teddy. Still thinking about little Wesley and all the summers him and Pip had ran together.

A decent eating day.. ..crackers and stilton for lunch then Beans on toast and fruit this evening..Felt full today.

Dave.. A good idea to have booked the holiday.. something for you and Denise to look forward too.. Did the anti biotics help her.

Sym.. A worry for your daughter re her hubby.. I can imagine the son going the other side of the world a worry .. not so bad if they have a partner
    .
Your bathroom sounds good to go now. Does it really need to be done… You could go on another cruise with the money lolol when you arrive back from this next one. lolol xx

C C.. Yes our emotions seems to rule our food and drink intake… I would imagine the fire was pretty scary…. I think fire is my worst fear as its so quick and devastating .
You are doing so well .. good luck this coming week.

H H and Nana hope you are enjoying your day

Health is not about the weight you lose but about the life you gain. Xxxx

    Couscousā€¦
How frightening and your poor neighbours how things can change in a minute. Definitely a good malt would help and you can be excused fastingā€¦
    Tomorrow is another day..

    Hemmyā€¦
Poor Westley you will miss him.. itā€™s that dreaded time.
My floor and waste sink are disintegrating so no choice on the floorā€¦ and the shower unit has to be replaced and itā€™s behind the tilesā€¦ all seemed a good idea at the timeā€¦ hoping heā€™s a kind and understanding fitter.

    Night all

Good afternoon everyone zero degrees here just been out with the dog. It’s a good job I can’t stand spirits or I would be drinking them all the time.My drinks must be in a pint pot and to be honest I have never liked drinking in the house. Never did it even when I was single. These days I hardly drink at all. Totally opposite from when I was working. Managed a week without bread so that means no butter either that’s a big saving in calories. I’ll probably be like a cartoon character I’ll pull my jaw out,put a loaf in it and close my mouthšŸ˜‚. Chicken for tea tonight so Chloe is prowling about waiting for some šŸ˜†. The antibiotics didn’t do Denise any good, she asked for some more but was refused.

    Good afternoon all. Xxxx

    Another grey intensely cold day.

A good walk .. then went to the shop for lazy day Sunday Cold roast beef slices and fresh crusty baguette. ..Plus naughty choc eclairs.. that was lunch and will be dinner also so easy finger food day. Plus going full hog as they say and having wine. That’s it then tomorrow is defiantly going to be a really different “another day” lolol Must lose those Xmas pounds.

Miss old Mum she would have soon ” Put me on the right track ” as she would have said lolol.

Roll on spring and in the garden.

I hope every one is having a good day..Xx

    Evening!
Couscous – really well done on your weight loss so far! Scary with the neighbour’s fire, do you know what caused it? My youngest son is a fireman, they’ve had quite a few electric car & scooter fires… definitely a good reason to give up a FD!
Dave- poor Denise, she might have to push to get a clinic appointment sooner! Has she heard about the jury service yet? Good you’ve been able to book up a holiday, Haworth, we loved it there, when do you go? Don’t go mad with the bread next week!
Jean- poor daughter & SIL, I hope he picks up before the cruise… difficult decisions with your bathroom!
Hemmy- great bargain with your bag! Hopefully back on track tomorrow, you must miss your mum so much, I love her sayings…
Nana- hope you’ve had a good break away!
Had nice walks with Xena this weekend, a bit longer than sometimes, feeling quite energetic! Saw Mum yesterday, trying to drop hints about her sister/ my aunt, having a hard time as my uncle has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s & is struggling to adjust, all mum says is that they’re lucky to have each other & not at all sympathetic, she thinks they should just laugh about it! My poor aunt is finding it hard to speak to mum atm…Did a roast for hubby today, youngest was going to come but still a bit poorly, he’s on the mend though hopefully. Ordered some new boots online, someone we watch on YouTube recommends them, & they hike miles with their dogs. They are the barefoot ones, will see what they’re like, you can try them for 100 days! Will be my birthday present…

Denise got a letter about jury service dated 26th December asking why she hasn’t filled the form in she sent it off early January, she’s still waiting for a birthday card from her sister which is in the post. Gone downhill since I left.

Dave .. I agree re Royal Mail… I have just had to have documents resent. I should have received them on the 2nd January .. The whole country is upside down.

Good morning everyone going bowling if the green isn’t frozen. Got my thermal vest on and hand warmer charged.Hoping the roofers finish today, will be good to get back to normal. I bought a security camera because the roofers left lots of tiles outside. It’s a great camera only costĀ£20 then had to buy a SD card for it so that was another 20quid. It’s great though when people walk past it follows them. Only had 2 slices of bread yesterday. So not too bad. Not sure what to have today food wise.

    Evening!
It is a treat not having to get up on a Monday, still can’t get used to it & feel guilty! One of my holiday pounds is off when I weighed this morning, so a good start…Took mum out birthday card shopping today, quite hard work but we got loads, up til March… she’s certainly getting worse šŸ˜¢
Going out for dinner shortly, half price on Mondays in January, a bit narked though as they’ve changed the menu since I booked it & haven’t got anything I can stick to keto with, I was hoping to do strict keto for a couple of weeks & get the extra weight off!

    Good evening everyone.. Xxxx

A better day here with sunshine makes all the difference.

A good start to the week. no rubbish eating at all today.. hoping for a loss this week.
I have also decided to completely quit wine again..It makes me want to eat sweet things.
So a hard going week giving up wine and treats. lol but I am determined to do it. I love being size 12 jeans.
I am cooking beef and lots of veg in the Crock pot tomorrow . will stock up on lots of fruit in Tesco tomorrow.

Dave..Did you go bowling was the weather kind.

H H .. Well done on ditching a holiday pound.. did you find something suitable on this evenings menu .. A worry seeing your Mum not herself ..maybe in better wether and she can get out and about more she will improve .

Sym Nana and C C hope you are having a good evening.

When times get tough the tough get going. xxxx

Hemmy yes I went bowling, we had 3 games then just as we packed up the rain came so great timing. Taking Chloe to the park today she gets excited, leaps into the car then when we get there I have to hide from other dogs. There is a big boxer called Chester that runs up to her but leaves her alone she can put up with that. The little dogs are the worst they all think they are Great Danes. Chloe’s is tall, I wish I could see her run but she’s not interested in chasing a ball she just strolls over and as a sniff then walks back to me šŸ˜„.No sign of the roofers once you pay them done money they disappear but we still have lots to pay so they will be back. They’re is a rain bomb supposed to be arriving from America on Friday so I hope the roof is finished by then.

Hello everyone, our trip to Norwich was very enjoyable, nice to have a change of scene even if it was cold.
Not had chance to catch up on your posts but hope all of you are keeping well.
Haven’t weighed myself since getting back home as my jeans are telling me that I’ve gained weight. I started back in earnest yesterday doing my usual method.
We’ve got the first of two visits to our local crematorium tomorrow to a friends funeral and then on Friday for my OH’s cousins funeral.
Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.
    Nana xxx

    Evening!
Dave- hope they get a gap in the rain to finish your roof! Poor Chloe with the dogs! Xena is fine with small dogs, even yappy ones she ignores usually as long as they don’t try & lick her face, she hates that! Bigger dogs she is nervous of…
Nana- glad you had a nice break but a shame you’ve got 2 funerals this week, hope it goes as well as these things can šŸ¤—
Hemmy- well done getting back on track now, you do well when you ditch the wine!
Nothing keto on the menu last night, so decided to just enjoy the meal, we don’t go out for dinner that often! And had Oreo cheesecake for dessert, it was so good!
My sister came over this morning so we had a nice catch up, she doesn’t know what she wants to do for her birthday next week, I don’t want to plan anything until she knows, mum will want to see us both! If the weather isn’t too bad a walk with Xena & a coffee out will do me! My HomeStart family didn’t answer this morning so will speak to her another day. Did a mini workout this afternoon, haven’t done one since we went away…
Hope everyone else is okay šŸ¤—

A miserable day here, we have a friendly bowling match organised for tomorrow afternoon so that’s good. Better to play a proper match. Gone over my lower limit today but still under the top limit. Lots of football to watch this week, just watched Villa next Liverpool.

    Evening All..
I seem to have missed a couple of days..

All well hereā€¦ plumber has been and working out what I need, I can go to the shop Thursday for her list and he will drop me an email on Saturday for his price .. he said not an easy job, he doesnā€™t know until he gets the tiles up.

    Sounds like Daveā€™s roof!!!

    Dave..
Hope the roofers get here before the heavy rain starts. We had a camera outside.. itā€™s down now I was watching Charlie inside to see what heā€™s like when I am out.. he sleeps!

    Hedgehog ..
Must be hard when eating out to do keto. I always like coffee and cake it does me fine. How old are you both this year?

    Nana..
Glad all went well away, I do miss that. Two funerals thatā€™s not goodā€¦

    Hemmy..
I donā€™t seem to drink much at all these days, I had a bottle of wine which lasted me all over Xmas. Yes and a bottle of baileys which is finished now.
    Crockpot sounds easy and filling.

Kay and Couscous what are you both up to?

    Jean x

Good morning F B Brit friends Xxxx

Its a dark cold day here today so will need warm walking clothes.

Its been tiring the last few days stopping the Xmas overload of sugar .. I am so annoyed with myself as I do it every year.. Ok all Xmas then eat up all the leftover treats after lol. Never mind I don’t expect to change now .lolol . so onwards and downwards.

Busy day yesterday . did a big shop which will last me till next weekend when Kristy comes.

Ohh I was soo amazed at the bill .. so much less not buying any wine or rubbish food. I just have to cook healthy now lol. Croc pot on this morning before walking. Mince and veggies for healthy cottage pies.

Nana Ohh alwysso very sad saying goodbye to family or friends. Xx

Dave .. lots of sport on the go for you… will keep you on track re eating.

H H .. Do you and your sis always celebrate your birthday together .. Are you identical twins.

Sym.. Hope the plumber is a good one… and nor too expensive.

Kay and CC hope all is well with you.

Enjoy your day everyone..” The first wealth is health.” Xxxx

Good morning everyone the roofers said they will be here tomorrow.seeing is believing.Bowling at 12 today in a challenge match, it’s nippy only 4Ā°C so difficult to bowl well. Or that’s my excuse šŸ˜‚.Hemmy how long do you do beef in the crockpot? The beef I did was very chewy did it on high for 3 hours.Tasted ok but could have repaired my shoes with it. A storm coming on Friday so baton the hatches.

    Afternoon All..
Damp day but ok.. heating kicked in I didnā€™t think it was that cold.
Good walk not across the fields today too mucky..
Lazy day just made a pan full of veggies for the boy.. having a cuppa now.

    Hemmy..
Naughty daughter gave me a slim Xmas cake going cheapā€¦ nearly finished it lovely but heavy on the calories.
Eating out the freezer again it makes cheap food weeks. So much better than processed..

    Nana..
Funerals are not good, too many people going at our ages.. makes you think.

    Dave..
Good luck on the bowling.. too cold for me..

    Jean x

We lost the match but I played a bloke called Joe, I’ve played him 5 times before and he always wins but today I got done revenge.I won 21-4 I played really well. Cottage pie for tea not had any other food today so should be a low day

    Good afternoon everyone.. Xxxx

We had sun on our walk but its gone dull now.. Xx

Dave.. do you mean beef cubes or a joint? I do beef braising cubes for about 5 hrs on high. .. I like it when it just falls apart not chewy at all. I have done a whole joint as I like mine roasted in the oven.

Sym.. Yes.. I am going to raid my freezer.. use everything up and start again.. Must go through my food cupboards to..

Just off out to play with Pip .. then when we come in I will give him a little trim up. Not much as so cold but I like to keep him looking handsome. lol

Feel better today no sugar cravings as yet.

We can all do this together. Xxxx

    Evening!
Nana- thinking of you today šŸ¤—
Dave- did you have the roofers? Well done with the bowling, & having a low day!
Jean- good the plumber came, hope you can get what you need & that he’s not too expensive…yes, very hard eating out on keto, it’s okay for meat eaters, but all the veggie meals are carby! But it’s not often…sis & I will be 56 this year.
Hemmy- well done getting back to healthier food, & being organised with the crock pot! Is it the same as a slow cooker? I always did hubby’s stews for about 8 hours on low, haven’t used ours for ages. Hope Pip’s trim went okay! Yes, sis & I are identical twins, we looked alike when we were little but not at all now. We usually see each other on the day, Mum likes to see us both.
    Couscous & Kay hope you’re doing okay…
Didn’t have anything on today which felt weird, had a damp walk, did some sewing jobs & ironing, bacon & eggs for dinner. My sister saw Mum today & helped her do a shopping order, the fridge was nearly empty, we wonder if she’s getting to the stage of forgetting to eat, she was confused with what time of day it was yesterday & couldn’t remember if she’d had lunch šŸ˜¢

    Evening All..

    Dave..
Well done on winning with Joe..you must be getting a lot better when you play such a lot. Are your knees holding up?

    Hedgehog..
Lovely to get you all together for your birthday with mum..I thought of you more as 50..time passes.

    Hemmy..
Mr Pip .. keeping him looking smart with his trim.
Everyone saying how cold it isā€¦ I am layered up I thought it was lovely.

    Jean x

My knees sometimes almost give way.I nearly collapsed the other day bowling but stayed upright šŸ˜†.Hemmy yes I meant cubes of beef. It’s been pouring down all day, the roofer came and said he needs a couple of hours without rain too do the job. Don’t think he will get it. And a storm tomorrow so no chance then. Just want it all over and get rid of the scaffolding. When we leave the house I have to push Chloe off the step and then again to get her past the scaffolding.Egg and bacon tonight so not a low day.Off to the doctor’s soon to have my yearly checkup, hopefully all will be good. See you all later.

So far not a bad weather day here .. some sunshine. really hoping we don’t get this storm as always I worry about the dry stone wall. Hope everyone one else stays safe.Xx

I think the beef .. veg and lots of herbs was my very best Crockpot stew yet. So tasty

It made 5 potions. Yes its a stow Cooker ..
Not missing the wine this time…still wanting sugar a bit but its gradually subsiding.. Still feeling tired though so it proves it does play havoc with the body

Pips had a nice trim up looking very handsome lol.

Its time to go in the garden and do a bit of throwing… Having to force myself today though. lolol

    Enjoy your afternoon everyone.

Best to focus not on how much we eat but on what we eat. Xxxx

Done my visit to the doctor’s, they did all the usual tests and blood results should be available on Wednesday. I’ll not bother checking if they’re is anything wrong they will send for me. Denise as avoided doing jury service so she’s happy about that. Had our second wet walk of the day, funny when the weather is bad Chloe stops every few yards to have a sniff.

    Evening!
Dave- glad your MOT was okay, hopefully they won’t need to ring you! Good Denise’s jury service is sorted, when’s her birthday? Hope you don’t get the storm tomorrow & your roof can get done soon!
Hemmy- good Pip is a smart boy again! I really notice how much sugar affects me- I get aches & pains back quickly! Glad the stew was good, keep up with protein & veg & the sugar cravings will go…
Jean- what have you been up to today? How long til the cruise? I’m sorry, I know you’ve said, I forget!
Couscous – how are you doing, I hope you are okay?
Been quite hungry today, had a dry walk with Xena, did a short workout, & we saw youngest son, he’s so chuffed to be officially in the fire service now, has decided he’s going to keep doing weekends on-call here through his training, said he’d be too bored otherwise! I don’t get bored…

HH it was Denise’s birthday a couple of weeks ago. No rain here yet but I don’t think the roofers will be round today. I can hear the wind coming down the chimney, don’t know how strong it is until I get out with Chloe. Hemmy I’ll do the beef much longer next time in the crockpot.Chicken stew tonight, might take Chloe out then have some porridge.Jean your very industrious making all the little creatures.Nana what you up to today. A good walk .. then did a line full of hand washing…. Just had lunch used my new sandwich toaster .. As I am trying to be more varied .. I did a cheese onion and celery rather than my usual just cheese and onion .. it was OK lololol ,, will stick to tried and tested lolol

This evening its eggs beans and chips.

H H .. yours boys sound lovely a credit to you I am sure. .. Have you decided on your Birthday celebrations.

Dave.. So pleased for Denise she hasn’t got to worry about the jury service.. a
relief for her I bet. ..

Dave- I must’ve missed Denise’s birthday, sorry! Just hope your roof has been okay with the storm today, & šŸ¤žhe can finish it soon!
Jean- good you’re enjoying the crocheting, hope coffee out today was good? Not long until the cruise then, hope SIL is feeling better…
Hemmy- well done with your pound off! Just a cheese toastie for me (although not now I’m keto šŸ˜‚), can’t stand celery … Good the weather has been nice for you. Have invited the boys over the day after my birthday for a takeaway, not sorted anything with sis yet…
Nana- hope the second funeral goes okay šŸ¤—
Lazy start for us, I seem to be sleeping later quite a bit now! Windy so didn’t do one of our usual forest walks, went round the estate here. Shopping done , a bit of cleaning & a workout, trying my HomeStart family again in a minute. Was another half a pound down, getting down slowly!
Have a good weekend everyone šŸ„°

Good evening the wind is dying down now, I’ll still keep away from the trees though. My new watch as come so testing it out. I’ve cleaned everything off my old phone so will try and sell it. It’s in good condition and I tested it and all is working well. My son as gone to watch wrestling tonight in the Midlands, didn’t think her would get there but as made it. He gets home in the middle of the night then is going to Southampton tomorrow. Are one time he wouldn’t go to the corner shop now her goes all over.
