  • Busy day again and I missed alot sorry!

Carol, well done on 4lbs lost. Wooohoo. Great going.

Sarah, my coaching was not self help but with a neuro linguistic professional. It was really enlightening. Of course, it doesn’t stop me being me under pressure, but it does mean I can choose to change in conscious thought. Usually though that’s retrospective where I realise I could have / should have done X Y or Z! πŸ˜‚

Some busy days for everyone again. Mine was spent in full on spreadsheety budgety mode (Minols, Clare and DF you may have loved it!) I’m doing 12 hour days in the office at the moment with another hour’s travelling time, so apologies if I don’t keep up for the next couple of weeks. Abridged with 2 hen weekends I’m not expecting any kind of weight losses during this time. Life just happens sometimes. I’ll try and behave as often as possible.

    Angela. xx

    Evening all

Have overdone it today, including a (BIG) chocolate biscuit and a flipping bagel…why…why…!!

Anyway very good session tonight called pump and tone using weights. (Real heavy weights or so it felt) I am going to suffer tomorrow I just know it. Much higher octane than I am used to with my genteel pilates.

Undecided about fasting tomorrow instead of Weds and then weighing on Thursday and if it is not good enough, fasting for a third day on Friday and weighing on Saturday. On thinking about it at the mo.

Jean, oh if only I had the sort of life that contained matching underwear sets….

Tammy that MB stew looked gorgeous and I can’t think of anything nicer than horseradish dumpling or any dumpling really.

I really don’t like the look of the 800 cal 5/2, I can barely lose eating literally nothing 2 days a week, don’t think it would work for me.

Kay Kon Mari made me laugh a lot, but the folding is fantastic. I was so pleased with myself that I could do it I was mildly hysterical with laughter, like the first time I made pasta and I had all these sheets draped everywhere in the kitchen. It was such a joyous and funny thing somehow. My things are a lot more organised. Have a lot of scarves, once in several big drawers all on top of one another, nothing visible, now everything at a glance. It is fab. Even my OH (world’s best packer) is impressed.

Hope that magnesium works for all of us tonight. Is anyone not on it?? Sleep well cyberfriends xx

    Hi Sarah,

With you taking magnesium you might be surprised about the lack of aching. My magnesium bath was only a recommendation from a PT last year.

I’m confused with you saying about fasting tomorrow instead of Wednesday? I thought tomorrow is Wednesday? πŸ˜‚

I’m not on magnesium with regularity and I’m not sure it helped me last night in the bath. I think to get a good dose transdermally then you need way more than I used. Still took me a while and a few pee’s to get off to sleep. Maybe I should give the supplements a go? I used it in the bath as my shoulders ached from being hunched over a laptop all day.

I’m going Google Kon Mari…. xx

    Hi Angela

Comfusing myself too durrr. Meant fasting weds instead of my usual Thurs so I can get in another on Friday without dojng b2b which sounds hardore to me, not sure I can bear to but on the other hand I would like to shift this 16lbs….

You could give the supplements a go. I wanted to try something for relaxation and better sleep. I am not a pill popper by nature. I take vit d for most of the year and fish oil only but I do think the Mag is helping a bit and with digestion (food transit).

If you google Kon Mari try to see the real Japanese Kon Mari, there’s lots on utube but lots of other people who aren’t the real Kon Mari who is this incredibly slim and manicured Japanese woman who tells you you need to feel joy in your drawers basically. Lol.

Ooo….spreadsheets….I do like a good spreadsheet. Hopefully I will get taken in the accountancy team and have lots of spreadsheety fun πŸ™‚

Oh how I wish I had matching underwear to be able to sort! (sorry to any fellas around)

Im with you Sarah on the 800cals….Im struggling on what Im doing already!

Well over today. Hadnt bargained for the cider tonight, but Neil fancied a beer and treated me to a cider and he’s not had any money for ages, and of course I have no will power!
So cider and cauliflower cheese…..at least I use skimmed milk!!

Wed and Thurs will need to be FDs now….grrr….

Oh yes, I forgot about the carrot cake mix that I put in the bread maker. Bought it from Aldi for Β£1.30 something and thought it was cheap enough to give it a try. When I say I forgot about it….I dont mean its still in the bread maker…..I forgot to mention I’d had some!!! First cake in a while though. Unless you count a hot cross bun the other day πŸ˜‰

Can I suggest we put a little tag line at the bottom of our next posts, or just post a one liner, with our forum name, real name if we want to be known as that, otherwise just the forum name, and a few words which will help others remember who we are….it might help πŸ˜‰

I have a question, which goes back to last year, so maybe only Jean will remember, but I need a new steam mop and dont know what to go for!!

Ooo…forgotten my magnesium, will take it now….lol

    Morning all

So I have decided not to fast today as in no liquid fast. But not eating til this evening then a moderate bowl of veg chilli only. No cheese, no nuts.

I read the other day that a handful of mixed salted nuts is 85 cals. Oh dear. There is a problem in that the last time I visited sister I got a very large carton of mixed salted nuts from Costco. I have been eating probably between 200-400 calories worth almost every NFD and there are loads left. I really need to stop myself doing this and also stop eating cheese on the basis it is high fat, low carb.

Calories count too I have decided. Everything counts…oh dear. My birthday is looming – mid June – not a special one but I had this as the date to be at goal and it all feels so very slow at the mo.

    Stay strong fasters

    Sarah

Angela, that’s a lot of time in the office! I work 8-4 with a couple of hours travelling to and from, and its draining!

Its the second FD of my three .. I can do this right?

I’m not sure about the revised 5.2 thing? I think it was Kay who said, doesn’t that just make it a low cal diet? 700 is definitely more do-able, and it may work, I’m just not sure myself really.

To everyone fasting today, stay strong! To everyone else, have a wonderful day πŸ™‚

I’ll be back later, as I’m anticipating today might be slightly tougher than yesterday!

    DF (Kay) x

    Morning Sarah,

I have one meal a day on my FD and I usually try to leave some calories for something sweet before bed too, a yoghurt, or some chewy sweets etc.

On NFD’s I do try to count my calories. When it goes horribly wrong for me, weight wise, I find it’s because I’ve been way over my calories at least a couple of days a week.

Don’t forget though that with all your exercise you’ll be likely building muscle. Have you measurediscovered again recently? xx

    Hi Angela

Yes I am overdoing it on the NFDs. I am going to stop now! As I was going into the third set of squats with weights and push up yesterday I was thinking this is going to play havoc with the scales but decided the number on the scales has to take second place to the bigger (or hopefully smaller and more toned) picture. Measurements exactly the same.

Re your hours in the office. Take care! I am not doing it now but I have gone through long periods of 12-16 hour days without a break ever even for lunch and I am living proof it is not good for you at all. I was very target driven and high energy, enjoying the adrenaline hit achievement brings, never thought I was the sort of person would burn out, but I did. I have. Years of that sort of work is very bad for you and it completely wrecks your adrenal balances etc. I now realise ‘achievement’ can be pointless. You probably enjoy at the moment but take care to preserve yourself for a healthy future. Xx

    Morning All…

Sunny dry day….what a morning boilermen here at 7.45, only just finished breakfast….off shortly to dentist for check up …loads of noise and all doors open here..❄️..can I say I am glad I am off to dentist..lol

NFD for us today…looking at a pizza for dinner…ummm..sir would like it!…we shall share a 12″..

I feel guilty with my matching undies, I only have a few lacy ones now, mainly tee shirt bras but always matching even if it’s just colours….waiting for the weight to come down to re buy…lol

    Kay..
On the 800 days it looks like you have a late breakfast and and early dinner, making for a longer fast while sleeping…it was sketchy in the paper more in the supplement on Saturday hopefully…I am happy doing what we are doing maybe good for maintainance.

Sorry can’t remember about the steamer…I shall investigate it for you..

    Sarah…
Oh the Kon Mari..I did laugh…I am that person, before my time…lol..lol…boxes, plastic bags, socks sorted even down to clothes folding ( and rolling for holiday case).. I have plastic boxes, plastic baskets, in the loft, garage, bedroom, under beds with sliding drawers, our wardrobes and kitchen…Steve laughs at me but he now says I need some boxes for the garage so it must work…πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Hope you are not aching too much…must start my excerise again got way laid..

    Hemmy…
A lovely day for Mr Pips walk…maybe another garden day for you…no dreams for us last night both very unsettled, always on a FD night.

    Angela…
You sound so busy with the spread sheets and for another fortnight.. 12 hour days that’s busy!..( I might be boxes but Steve loves spread sheets..lol) so pop by when you have time…

    DF and Tammy.
Hope your goes well..three days on the trott is hard going..

    That’s me for now…back later

    Jean x

(Symba7….Jean and Steve..retired..lives near Selby NE….been with this thread 17 months)

    Hi Sarah,

I am just like that, bouncing around all day trying to manage multiple priorities, not stopping for lunch and barely even for toilet breaks until last minute.
There’s a few things compounding the issue: the guy I had to let go in January I don’t have a replacement for. I’ve appointed someone but they won’t start until June. Then we have some group wide safety initiatives owing to accidents in other sites, and my OHSE manager is a lazy sod (something else I’ve made an appointment for and I’m waiting for someone to start.) Finally, we have to deliver next year’s annual budget next week and the Finance Controller has not had to do this before We only get 1 month to pull it all together, the finance team is a team of 2, the controller has fallen way behind and (being an associated fixer upper) I’ve had to step in and pull it together and get it back on track as we have to pre-deliver a presentation this Friday. That’s meant some long days and weekend work. πŸ˜₯

After next week things should calm down again and I can reign my hours in. And then in June I can sit at my desk and file my nails πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚

    xx

Good morning F B Brits hope all is well with you and yours. Xx

Foggy start but 13 and sunshine locally forecast till 5pm. Garden calls.

Blimey you office girls make me tired just listening to all the hours you work… and pressure.

I know its hard when you are trying to achieve in your careers and I expect it still harder for a woman.

I noticed the last week-end Kristy came she is very stressed with her job and is clashing with a person who may soon be her boss. Lost her bloom and very nervy.

I ask myself whether the extra money is worth it … think she is too. In fact I think she is worse of now financially with the expenditure and defiantly less quality of life.

Think I will give the lovely Michaels new regime a go… he obviously knows what he is about. I love new tweaks anyway. Lolol

Sym.. I am now going to start sorting some nice matching sets of underwear for summer. Might as well look good underneath too. We are worth it. Lol

Good luck Fasters … trying 3 meals today 600.

    Brit lovelies…

It’s not that we need new ideas, but we need to stop having old ideas. Xx

    Morning all – feeling grumpy!
Had a run-in with a shouty man in the park. Hate meeting him because he always shouts at me because our dogs didn’t get on when we first moved here. His dogs are fine – and actually, so are mine…just don’t let the blonde one met him because he starts barking, and if he’s off the lead he is not the sort of dog to back down. This time, but blonde was on the lead, the old dog off, and I had momentarily lost which direction he had gone in so technically he was out of control…but out of control sniffing sniffs and not causing anyone any bother. I had just done my good citizen thing and picked up someone else’s dog poo that was on the path (I hate people going too and from the shops discovering they’ve walked in poo someone hasn’t picked up – I feel so sorry for them). Anyway, there I am being shouted out, and telling myself again that I must not shout back, it serves absolutely no purpose, better to put my energies into keeping blonde dog quiet and getting old dog on the lead…I know the circumstances of what was going on, but you can’t explain that or be heard in any meaningful way shouting over a field with dogs around, so I decide the least worst of all options is to walk away…even though that feels rude too!

So I’ve been at my desk an hour and I still want to go Grrrrrr!

Right, back to the point of this thread – FD alright yesterday – I’m fairly routinely over, but I walked 12 miles, so not too worried. On the new ideas front – by accident, that’s probably pretty much what I did yesterday – 3 food breaks, three portions of Heck and bacon (plus a few other things that we won’t mention). It was just one of those days that had started too early and needed to be broken up. I find doing the full on fast really difficult at the moment – back in the early days, I would wait until evening meal and eat everything then, and sometimes just do fluid. Maybe that’s easier in the summer? Don’t know. Anyway, the thing that has me most a fan of this WOL is the idea of having days of very little…and feasting (you know I love that!) It feels like a good restorative to the over-balance of modern life towards having whatever we want whenever we want it.

Quite possibly my problem is with the ‘good’ food bit…I really do love bad food!

    Mx

    Morning all!

It’s a beautiful day here, sitting in the office looking longingly out the window and thinking I should be on a golf course!

Tea last night was lovely, but huge and put me about 600 cals over my tdee πŸ™ he had spotted an old tin of syrup sponge in my cupboard and turned up with a pot of custard to go with it lol. Never mind today is a new day and I’ll have a light nfd.

Jean the pizza sounds good! I only match my undies at the weekend lol.

I have the kon marie book and only use the clothes folding out of it – I can fit so many tee shirts in my drawers now it’s great.

Have a great day all. Clare x

I’m an expat in Cape Town and saw the Fast Diet documentary a few months ago

Started my first 5:2 fast day today so far had some All Bran/skimmed milk, plenty water, a small Apple and packet soup later if it goes well today may do my 2nd day tomorrow does anyone else do consecutive days or do you split your days up in the week?

This is so hard .. first b2b I’ve done, and usually I’d be eating now!

I’ve been for a walk, just need to get this lunch hour over with at work and maybe I’ll settle down again. Its all for the greater good .. I have to keep telling myself that!

Hope everyone else fasting is going well πŸ™‚

Hi Yozzi πŸ™‚ Just seen your post! Welcome πŸ™‚ People do different things when it comes to their FD’s. Usually I do Mon/Thurs, but after hitting a plateau I’ve decided to add in another FD, and due to commitments this week it means I have to do three back to back fasts. Today is day 2 and to be honest, I’m struggling already! I’ll keep going, I remember in the early days of fasting twice a week it was rough some days!

Good luck with your journey πŸ™‚

    Afternoon All…

Oh my dental hygienist hurt today…she said three times would I like an injection as some teeth were sore I declined but god she hurt…(Sorry Minols)

All going good on the boiler front just fed them so happy bunnies…Steve brought 2 vanilla slices and 2 choc eclaires in…he got a big frown..men don’t want them so now we have two each….!

    Yozzi..
Welcome come and join in list of advice if you need it…I would split your days up when starting it will make it easier….you get longer fasts separate days…

    Minols…
Couldn’t imagine a grumpy vicar, he really has rattled you….big breaths, calm down he won’t be worth it…lol

    Hemmy..
Hope you get in the garden it’s really lovely..

    Clare..
Poor you..a good game of golf….we felt like that going to dentist , a good caravan day…lol…pizza should be a no no but only half each, with some chips…lol..again half a portion…lol

    Angela…
Have a good day, hope it soon calms down for you…

    DF…
Enjoy your lovely walk , I used to like to get out the office at lunchtimes

    Jean x

    Many thanks Dragon!

    Hi all and welcome Yozzi

Minols, I hate shouty bullies – you did well just to walk away, probably the least rude thing you could do in the circumstances.v restrained.

Jean, don’t feel guilty about matching underwear, revel in it! Oooh I do love a vanilla slice

Angela, I had to laugh about your OHSE, you described every single one I have ever come across. Good luck with nail filing in June then…..

Hi Jean – there’s a bit in 2 Imprecations (sandwiched in my Bible between Lamentations and Hesitations) that allows the ‘calling upon the name of the Lord’ in extremis…and specifically mentions any situation that causes ‘pain upon thy gums or upon thy dental extrusions set therein (teeth)’

***Now, step away from the computer and prepare for a certain minister at the other end of it to be struck by lightning!

PS feeling less grumpy…not sure it should be replaced by frivolity, however!

    Mx

Welcome Yozzi. One of the great things about this way of life is the flexibility it provides. There’s always the possibility of tweaking things if you get bored or if one approach doesn’t work for you.

Minols, well done not being goaded into an argument. I can hear your frustration in your post.

Matching underwear does not exist in my life, I’m just trading big knickers for not quite so big knickers.

Kon Mari, interesting, but don’t clothes get creased with all the folding? I’m not sure I’ll ever find joy in my drawers!

Jean, my teeth always feel so sensitive after visiting the hygienist. Cream cakes, I could eat these until I was physically sick so trying to avoid.

DF, keep going, you can do it.

I used to work crazy hours. 12 hour days, then finish off at home in the evening or weekend. Always on my laptop. Hannah when she was 8 used to ask if it was month end, a new project, or annual appraisal time – always something essential I felt I had to keep on top of, and once you achieve more than is expected of you, then this becomes the new norm. The wheels came off when I worked on a project from 5pm – 1am and got an insight into Phil’s life whilst I was at work. I’d just been blinkered and the guilt was horrendous. Nearly 2 years later still off work (sick/career break) and now don’t suffer with the demons so much. I’ve seen more of the family than ever before, even when the girls were babies. I will go back to work one day, but not in the foreseeable future, and hope then to achieve the work/life balance everyone talks about but which I never managed to acquire.

Just checked online and discovered that planning has been approved for our extension. Being completed under Disabled Facilities Grant (though we have to pay quite a big chunk) and will give Phil a bathroom and downstairs bedroom (currently he has a hospital bed in the lounge). Once the bathroom is completed I’ve promised Rebecca (youngest) that I’ll look at getting the disabled wetroom we have put back as a proper bathroom – with a bath!

The sun is shining, the washing is drying on the line and all, for once, is good in our little corner of Cardiff.

Hope everyone else is having a good day.

Lynne (Pasha) – currently caring for Phil (OH) with 2 girls, 2 cats (Pasha & Evie) and a lazy lurcher (Amber)

    Lynne..
That’s exciting your extension being approved it must make your life a bit easier and for Phil…you have your hands full, with Phil the girls and animals….lets hope Rebecca gets her bath…lol

I am coming down to your part of the world to see Steve’s daughter, near Newport on Tuesday staying for 4 nights in the caravan… Tredegar Country Park….just hoping the weather is lovely I can see the BBQ calling.

I shouldn’t be eating cakes we have had such a good week..that’s Steve going for his paper and shopping!!

    Minols…
You sound much better now…grumpiness has passed…no lightening I hope from him above…..lol

    Jean x

Jean, only a few miles and 2 motorway junctions away from us, as we live in Cardiff East. Won’t be long before we join with Newport the number of houses being built in our area at the moment.

I’ve passed the Tradegar House site and looks really nice, and so easy from M4.

The BBC weather forecast next week is better than Met Office, so we’ll go with that one, but it’s Wales so bring your wellies!

    Lynne x

Welcome Jozzi. I would seperate the FDs in the beginning…get the most out of the fasting.

Come on DF-Kay, you are well into the afternoon, so keep busy πŸ™‚

Sarah….Im with you…no cheese or nuts today. No food until teatime, just some skimmed milk in a large coffee about 4pm I reckon.

Jean, owch at the dentist! I really need to find a dentist and make an appointment for a check up and a scrape.
I cant believe the men turned down vanilla slice/chocolate eclair!!If I was close I would take a vanilla slice of your hands…one of my all time favourites!

Hemmy, no sun here yet, but it will hopefully brighten up soon and I then will spend half an hour in the front garden. Still at the stage of tidying up so I can see whats what and what to buy πŸ™‚

Clare, glad you had a nice evening last night πŸ™‚

Angela, hope there are no last minute major hiccups and things start falling into place. It all sounds very stressful. Im not sorry to have left all that behind.

Im 51 (almost 52) and dont intend to go back to a full time stressful job. For me the money isnt worth it. Its quality of life and one less thing to worry about. But I do know we are lucky to fall back on savings to pay the bills at the moment.

Minols, what a rude shouty man! What was there to shout at! Good decision to just walk away, even if it made you grumbly.
There seems to be a growing problem of dog owners picking up after their dogs and then because there is no bin immediately avaliable, they are throwing the bags into hedges etc so lots of bags hanging from trees. Its disgusting.
I have a purpose made pouch type bag which clips onto a lead and zips fully open so you can carry poop in a nicer way until you find a bin. It also has air freshener discs you can use with it πŸ™‚

Whilst Im waiting for the sun to come out Im going to make some fishcakes for tonight and then have a look at folding some stuff in my drawers.
There isnt much decluttering or spring cleaning to be done as its only 2 months since we moved in here, but always opportunties for a clean, tidy or change

Kay65 – Kay – the one with the poorly dog, recent house move and struggling to lose final half stone.

Kay65 – Kay – the one with the poorly dog, recent house move and struggling to lose final half stone.

Lynne, pleased the DFG has been approved, have you been waiing long? When I was in social care, I know that waiting lists were horrendous.

When we looking for a house, I was adamant that I wanted a bathroom with a bath, just in case I wanted one. Thing is Ive not used it yet! And in last house, I think I may have had just the 1 in the 12 months we were there! Something to think about when we move again, which is likely to be next year!!

    Lynne..
Tredegar is a lovely site…lots for dog walkers and a lovely playground for the children…we don’t have either now….Louise will keep us on our toes won’t be restful, either, dogs, cats, vets, shopping…back wards and forward visiting…families…lol

    Kay…
You sound your bouncy self…glad alls ok at the moment…looked back at the forum couldn’t find the makes of the steam cleaner…Audrey’s away in the caravan, I will ring her when I am back from Wales, I need a chat and I will ask her..

You can add on my piece…fighting to loose my last half stone…..I think Minols and Hemmy are on their last 7 lbs the same.

We have eaten the vanilla’s our favourites…just the choc eclairs to go…very very naughty.

    FD for us tomorrow…

    Afternoon all

My second fd going well but looking forward to tea. Hold on in there DF we can do this.

    Hi to jozzi.

Minols sounds like a horrible person, best just ignored.

Hi to everyone else, I have only managed to skin and very the posts there were so many.

Stay strong those that are fasting.

    Tammy xxx

    Hi there!

I am conducting a research on the effect of intermittent fasting on mood as part of my final year dissertation.

The participation for this study involves the completion of 3 short questionnaires while fasting for a period of 12 hours.
You are free to choose the date and time you will be fasting, I would recommend choosing a rest day.
    (I need 50 of them)
You could for instance start fasting at 7am and break your fast at 7pm and have your breakfast and dinner and need to only skip lunch.

If any of you are interested in participating and contributing to the results of this study please click on the link below! If the results are interesting I intend on publishing my study.

I will truly appreciate your participation πŸ™‚

    https://uelpsych.eu.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_3dwO574aCRDccL3

    Thanks a lot!

I would love to hear your thoughts after you have completed the study! So please let me know by contacting me at the following email address: u1245810@uel.ac.uk

Hi all…thought I’D just made a huge mistake ordering selwyn’s see weed for a snack for OH (and secretly for me!) I remember yummy seaweed froM when I was in NZ and this started out disappointing. Still not as good as a bag of McCoy’s but at 11 call I might just take it as a FD nibble!

My entry for the crib sheet…

Oh, and yes, on the last half stone and the slowest loser ever because too chilled and border-line lazy…but hoping to walk it off before I trek to Peru in October

Eaten nothing yet. Sticking to a med bowl of veg chilli and a few blueberries, no creme fraiche sob. Very hungry and going into a LF tomorrow but it has to be done. I can’t think today will be close to a normal FD limit of 500.

Lynne, clothes much less creased when folded the kon mari way but maybe that is just my previous poor folding.

As I am fed up with so many weeks when I don’t lose I have come up with My New Strategy. It requires me to weigh more frequently than once weekly but it has to be done.

So, I will weigh on Wednesday mornings to try to gauge progress after Monday FD and judge if Weds needs to be super controlled (under 500 cals) then I will weigh Fri morning to see if I have lost for the week.

If I have lost a pound or more then fine no more weighing til the next Weds.

if no loss Friday will be a fast day and I will weigh again on Saturday to try to be able to record a loss. There will be a problem if we have to do something on Friday night but I will try to keep that to a minimum.

It feels this way I can almost have another go to salvage a loss for the week. At the moment if I don’t lose on a Friday I am saying oh dear, but it is now the weekend and I don’t have to weigh again for a week.

    Grrr this wretched weight!! xx

The grim truth of my ‘plateau’ is that I am just eating too much on NFDs!

Minols, can I come to Peru with you, it sounds like an adventure I would like, but alas never have.

Had tea, scrambled egg and some cold meat, it didn’t hit the spot.

My contribution to the crib sheet.

Caspdexy, Tammy from Scotland, 1 daughter Rhiannon and OH Graeme, 2 cats dexter and Casper, must of shot passed thin at some point in my life!!!!

    Thanks all for the welcome!

Is there a quick way of finding out how many calories are in each meal or portion or serving? I’m sure there must be but first time on the site

It helps I do it every day, it links to Fitbit …have a look…

Hemmy… Been here forever so it seems. Lol Mum of Kristy and Doggie Mr Pips. Loves walking and gardening is my passion. I get lost there. Xx

Just had tea – home made fishcakes, which were a bit sticky, but otherwise ok, with cabbage, broccoli and courgette. This together with my milk for cappuchino earlier and Ive signed in for the day for just under 450 cals. So nearly ended up with a FD rather than a low day.
Usual FD tomorrow, which will be 25% of TDEE, so needs to be nearer 400cals.
And tomorrow will again be no cheese and no nuts. You with me Sarah?

Kay, I”m with you. Today has made me realise why I do liquid only though. Quite hungry. That is probably due to the nuts I haven’t had. Convinced though it isn’t just about low carb it is also about calories. Those nuts are just so tempting. First NFD I haven’t eaten any for a while.

Does anyone have a recipe for a good coffee cake, (no nuts), I can never seem to get them to taste of coffee.

    Morning all

Looking like a lovely day here! FD for me today eyeing up some heck paprika sausages for tea so will look forward to that all day.

Dropped in to see mum last night and came away with one of my favourite teas to cook – leftover roast chicken with peas & cheese sauce, topped with ready salted crisps & cheese. Baked it in oven & was delicious, a real surprise treat.

    Have a great day all.
