  • Took Ellie out for a walk in the Forest this afternoon. Extremely muddy but at least we both got some fresh air! She doesnt like mud and hates water, so having her paws and legs washed in the hallway before being allowed in the living room, didnt please her!

Day off worrying about food today and off to the pub to watch the rugby.

Not heard from Neils mum since earlier. She was going to get some more ‘morphine something’ from the doctor which was prescribed to help with the anxiety.

I didnt go back to bed this morning, so guess after a couple of ciders I will be ready for my bed. There is a proportion of water in cider right?! 😁

Im due to meet someone about a job at 9 tomorrow. Its with an accountancy firm and although Im fine with Excel I have no knowledge of Sage, the accounting software so he wants to show me around the system and see if I can pick it up before deciding if they will take me on.
The problem is that I dont want to leave Ellie on her own for too long at the moment and Neil is working full days at the moment. Will see how tomorrow morning goes first.

Hope everyone has a good evening xx

    Jean x

Hemmy, joining you in a half milk/water coffee to end the FD.

Kay, never used Sage, but understand it’s quite straightforward. Hope the jobs works out as you want it to.

Minols, love the idea of a remote island, but think I’m a bit late on that one.

Hannah’s taken herself all around the country on courses aimed to help her get onto her chosen uni course. She went to Tanzania to do medical work experience with a couple of friends, they did a lot of fundraising and she also persuaded her 6th form college, high school and old headmistress to sponsor her, all when she was 16. It did the job as she got a place on the Physiotherapy course she wanted at the uni she wanted. Next year she knows it will have to be a shorter trip as she’ll be on placement so will only have 4 weeks off in the summer(poor love). She’s planning to travel more once she graduates and before settling down with a proper job. I wish I had her self confidence.

Jean, is that the merlot you took with you on your trip, or just one of it’s close relatives?

Trying to keep out of the way whilst Phil watches the rugby – it can get quite heated if the game goes the wrong way.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Sym.. Just completely re read your blog. Sooo very inspiring.. You have both done brilliantly. Xx

Lynne .. Life sounds very exciting for your daughter. They are so lucky these days with all the opportunities before them. After saying that they still have to work hard to achieve.

Well done on your Fast … I didn’t find it too bad today. Hope the scales are pleased tomoz.

Good night all in our little corner. Xx

    Lynne..
Cheeky….May I say th 3/4 bottle of wine wast taken out of my box and left behind on holiday…I received two bottles of wine while away, ( for having no water) both came back unopened…just finished the bottle now…lol….no more now till next Friday so I am told..🤣😅😅

Hannah sounds a very busy girl and knows where she’s going…good luck to her..😀

    Hemmy..
My blog a long read..thanks for that, I noticed today you made a comment. I think writing it down helps me and to read myself…and if it helps others that’s nice also. Slipping a bit now.😬 Back on track three fasts this week

    Morning All…

A grey day here but hope it gets better…

We are off for a motorbike ride today, not sure where yet blow the winter cobwebs off….

    Hemmy…
Fantastic on your pound and under 10 stone…Audrey dance please, I will do it for her….your small meals must be working…a few of us chasing these blxxdy 6 pounds….

Have a lovely garden day, I think it’s fine for most of us….

    Lynne..
I am sorry if I upset you it’s my sense of humour…funny and serious…maybe would of worked face to face….even Steve laughed at what you put….( I am not a very funny person but I do try…lol)

Hope the rugby went well for Phil, and he was smiling at the end…..SIL and grandson went to a local rugby match last night…

My Magnesium seems to to be working getting me a good nights sleep…..still early days…Steve’s still out yet, he is a terrible sleeper….this week he has cut a lot of night tablets out, going cold turkey which would keep him awake anyway, with withdrawal symptoms…..but he is going OK, he has had a couple of reasonable nights and with dreams!

    Have a lovely weekend….speak later

    Jean x

Morning all. Well I think it’s morning. So tired it all feels the same to me.
Just had 24 hrs of grandchildren. 8 months, 16 months and 3 years. Up bottle feeding in the night after running around after a very difficult toddler all day She’s very high maintenance like her mother. The 3 yr old is very good but boisterous. Just waiting for mum to pick them up then back to bed for a couple of hours I think.
Sorry not read everyone’s posts. Will try and catch up when thinks quieten down.

    Have a good day all.

    Carol…
You are always busy with the family, a bit of a whammy with three little ones….hope you get some sleep when they have gone….I am sure all the Mums will appreciate your help…

    Jean x

    Morning everyone

Jean, of course you didn’t upset me, just wasn’t sure if you realised I was joking. Enjoy your motorbike ride today.

Hemmy, into the 9’s is fantastic. Your small healthy snacks seem to be working for you. I think it’s good to shake it up every now and then.

Carol, I had a bad night too, up 4 times with Phil, but yesterday seems to have been calmer for me. At the time I remember thinking that this was worse than when the girls were babies. Hope you get chance to go back to bed, or at least have a decent nap.

Nothing much planned for today apart from the usual washing, ironing, shopping. A weekend of NFD so hoping to keep in control and not undo all the good work of the FD. Tuesday’s weigh in will reveal all!

    Have a good weekend everyone.

    Lynne x

    Hi everyone,

Hemmy.. congrats on your weight loss!

I’ve weighed today and seem to have put 5lbs back on from the 6lbs that I lost in the first week. Although my weigh day is Monday I don’t see myself shifting 5lbs in two days.

I’m a little confused as to why as I’ve had 2 fast days not going over 500cals and I have been calorie counting every non fast day to make sure I don’t go over 2000 as well.

Do you ladies follow the normal calorie amount as a woman or do you stick to the BMR and TDEE (which to be honest they both confuse me a little)

I’m quite a heavy weight over 21st and although I know this is a slow weight loss I wouldn’t have thought that I would’ve put all the weight back on in the second week?

Any advice would be nice 🙂

    Jess x

    Hi jess

I was 20.5stone when I started, just keep at it, it is supposed to be just a 1lb loss per week, yes it would be unusual to gain it back, maybe your scales playing up, I found with mine, it always weighs heavy the first time I step on, so have to do it at least 3 times, till I get 2 with same weight.

Don’t worry about it, you might get a surprise.

    Tammy xxx

    Afternoon All…
We have had a lovely ride out today ended up in Hemsley a small market town…we did have tea and cake but nothing else….

A lovely surprise when putting our bike gear on, it’s possibly 10 months since riding out due to Steve’s bad back of last year..Steve last year left his zip open because he could fasten the waist up, it does have a placket inside to stop rain getting in, 10 months on its fastened up with room for the trousers to be falling down good job he wears braces..lol …a good 5″ loss maybe more….I am joining him with at least 4″/5″ spare around my waist with my belt pulled really tight..legs also baggy. It’s nice when these last few months have been disappointing with weight loss…then you see what you have lost..😀😀😀😀

    Jess..
Just keep going you may be surprised, water retention, time of month or food in transit… our bodies are strange..sometimes you think you are doing well and you don’t loose, then you may go out, meal, drinks a bad week and then you loose.

I would try and keep under your TDEE on your NFD’s and then do your 500 days. As Tammy says it’s really only 1 lb a week…slowly does it.

    Jean x

    Evening all

I have had my grandsons 7&3 today. We went for a mooch at the beach and trip to sealife then home. They are now asleep after bathtime that was hilarious but bedlam and we are dropping them off in the morning. I have snacked more than eaten, including a fair few carbs, probably not over tdee but not ideal. Honestly they are so good but they take every bit of my attention

It made me think how tough it is to prioritise yourself and food plans with young children about. They are just so all encompassing. Mums with young children must find this really difficult to lose weight because of that. Hats off to them. Just don’t know how they do it.

Hope everyone else has had a good day.

Jess, don’t worry just make sure you fast two days to 500 cals only and don’t go over your tdee on non fast days (calculate it on the tracker) don’t worry about bmr for the mo and just keep doing it for at least a month and then reevaluate. It does work but it can be a bit hit and miss to get into it. Buy the book if you haven’t already. It is worth the money and you will go back to it again and again.

Well done Hemmy on the alcohol abstinence plus being under 9 stone. if I ever saw 9 stone it passed by pretty fast. Myself I have had two glasses of wine, one in the middle of the day and one now. Medicinal purposes you understand………early night coming up xx

    Hi Girls Xx

    Very quiet here today.

Hi Sym.. glad you enjoyed the bike ride today. so chuffed for you that the weight loss is really showing in the gear.

Enjoyed a garden day.. hopefully again tomorrow. Xx

Carol… although lovely to have the grand children… careful you at not over doing it. Especially on not much sleep. Xx

Lynne … you have a lot to cope with. I do hope you manage to get time for Lynne. Xx

Sarah…Sounds like you are a lovely Grand ma … and mother….in law. Appreciating the grandees and how their Mums must feel full time.

Lol… Sarah .. soo wish I could see under 9st again… don’t think so in my wildest dreams. Lolol

Going the right way though. Xx

Jess… all swings and roundabouts. If you keep to 5-2 rules… you will defiantly get there. Xx

Sleep tight girls ,, don’t let the bed bugs bite. Xx

    Sarah…
What a busy grandma day you have had and hitting the beach…lovely…everybody asleep, I would think you will be joining them…lol…enjoy your wine well deserved…

    Hemmy..
A lovely garden day think we have a lot of rain tomorrow.. so more relaxing day for you..

We are fasting tomorrow doing 3 fasts this week..Minols possibly with us..anyone else??

    Night night

    Jean x

Ha ha sorry Hemmy I meant being 9 stone something…equally unattainable for me. The boys are my daughter’s children, but i do appreciate my son in law very much. He is not the eldest child’s biological father but sees him completely as his eldest son. A very hands on dad, gentle, hardworking and always prioritises my daughter and the boys…what more could we want.

Jean, lol, lasted 10 minutes after putting last child to bed. One of them in my room so posting in the dark…

    Enjoy your tomorrow everyone xx

    Morning all

Yesterday a slightly fraught domestic day (lost keys meant a side door had to be damaged!) but at least we didn’t kill each other, and I ate sensibly and reasonably small portions.

Usual FD for me today – feel like there is a lb just hovering and waiting to go…not quite there yet, but it’s motivating me today. I have a couple of extra work things, too, which should be a useful distraction, but I know I’ll be looking forward to the OH’s usual fish and rice dish this evening – yum!

Hope you all have a relaxing end to the weekend.

    Mx

    Morning All…

A lazy start to the day, a later breakfast…

FD for us today…popping to the daughters she has a really heavy mirror which needs putting up, A Steve job, bless….. a bit Art Deco but new…not my thing but she is excited about it…I will keep my thoughts to myself…lol..as you do..

Told her we are fasting so going at 1 pm after their lunch…

Playing around as you do, 3 fasts this week, upping my fibre and water. I really do need kick starting…..hoping to do it for a month both of us.

    Minols…
Who lost the keys?? Hope the door can be repaired….a bit of a nightmare, a few words were spoken umm..

We are fasting with you today anyone else?

When we were working, I had a thing about keys…leaving first in the morning I used to get the call at work ‘ have you got my keys’…Yes I had both sets in my handbag and he was locked in…lol….so the search for his spare car keys and going out with spare back door keys….I did it loads of times….he always rang before he started searching then!

    Hemmy..
Your pot painting may go on today, the weather is better than they said. Does Mum get in the garden with you maybe still a bit cold for her…

    Sarah..
Hoping you are feeling more relaxed today with maybe some sleep….

    Have a lovely Sunday…make it relaxing…

    Jean x

    Morning all,

I’m back from a really naughty weekend. I haven’t dared step on the scales yet as we had pizza whilst watching the rugby last night and pizza is very unforgiving as a treat! 😂

Way too much wine on Friday as usual. Arrrggghhh. Although, loads of compliments from friends who I haven’t seen in a while about the weight I’ve lost so far. It’s getting quite noticeable now.

Mindful day for me today. Going to make a start on cutting back in the garden to try to burn some excess calories from this weekend. Everything has started to grow, blossom is coming on my plum cherry Tree so I need to get in quick.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. xx

    Angela…

I wished I had watch the rugby don’t do much sport but I like rugby looked a good watch…

We have to enjoy ourselves even if it bites us on the bum….draw your line and have a thoughtful day….lovely people are noticing, I think after the stone mark, change of shape of clothes and size…..gives you that lovely boost…😀…well done..

    Jean x

just weighed… 2.5lb up from Friday morning. That’s a pleasant surprise as long as I stay in control today.

What I have noticed Jean is that my appetite is now smaller generally. Like yesterday, before starting 5:2 I’d have grazed all day to manage my hangover. Instead, a very small breakfast, pizza for tea and that was it. No snacks alongside. So this WOL is really starting to become that for me. I look forward to fast days now.

I think this afternoon I’m going to get my smaller wardrobe out and see where I’m at against that target too. xx

    Morning ladies

Have been reading and has been a busy weekend for everyone whether it’s shopping, watching rugby, having family around or having senior moments Minols (sorry couldn’t resist it).

Well I haven’t stopped eating since Thursday basically, will fast tue ,wed, thur but I expect a gain on friday, then I have to really get my head down again.

Had a minor panic on Friday when I noticed a swelling and soreness on my sternum and not having injured myself I was a bit panicked, I did the usual thing that you shouldn’t do and Google it, even though I told myself not too, so had decided I had better go to the doc tomorrow, then all of a sudden last night I remembered I had been flat on my stomach struggling to grad a plug u der my bed on Monday!!! My senior moment, and of cause by today the swelling is almost gone and isn’t quite do tender.panic over.

Well think we might go check out a new campsite today, it’s quite nice here, will try not to waste my day.

    Have a good one

    Tammy xxx

    Angela..
Try and have a good day today…attacking the wardrobe, yes that’s something on my list, I need to be brutal….I think after the loft and garage…Steve was very good as he never parts with anything….I have decided to go through the house….bit by bit…
I have a plastic I call it ‘hair box’, straighteners, hairdryer, makeup…so I had a tidy and throw out this morning…it was a mess old makeup, hair strands etc. Much better now.

I think generally we eat smaller portions now, my food bill has really gone down possibly by half, still there only is the two of us, like you really. Stopping all snacks and biscuits, I don’t bake like I did, I really miss that…only occasionally…lol…wine gone down big time….seem to be collecting almonds and seeds now umm must stop…lol

I am really trying this week…as Steve would say always blxxdy trying…lol

    Tammy…
Fasting three days on the trot that’s a hard one….maybe put you back on track…glad you know what your pains all about…senior moment…lol

Hope the camp sites good for you, we often pop into ones and have a look if passing, see if it suits us in the future. The days much better than the forecast said more to the south now..😀

    Jean x

    Good day all.
I’m sorry I’m not posting. Feeling very low at the moment but it’s not affecting my eating now which is good. I think I’ve got to angry to have a binge. OH is being a challenge as ever but sometimes it’s gets me down more than normal. I am physically tired but more mentally tired I think. Roll on May and my week away with my granddaughter.

Missed lots of posts so I apologise for that. Will have to sign off as Im now having a migraine. This after having just finished cleaning up 4 litre’s of milk that fell out of the fridge and exploded all over the kitchen. Day not going well and still have 14 mouths to feed later.

    Beam me up Scotty. 😭😭😭

Carol, sorry you’re feeling down. Hopefully having the family round will cheer you up a bit. Mind you, I wouldn’t fancy cooking for 14!

Jean, my hair box is one of the things on my list too, but I think that will be another day. Just spent an hour clearing winter debris and chopping back in the garden. Lovely to be outside with the birds tweeting away.

Now for a bit of work work then relax with a movie I think. xx

Thought I’d add my name to this forum too – I’m 57 from Surrey and currently on the March challenge. So far I’ve lost 3lbs which equates to 1.5lbs per week, so pretty pleased with that. Did 5:2 a couple of years ago and lost just under a stone but more importantly, felt so much better and more energised. I’m only 5ft 1ins and most sites tell me I should be around 8st 10lb but bearing in mind my age, I think that a) it would be very hard for me to reach that goal and b) I think I would look too thin! I would be very happy to be around 9st 7lbs which is 12 lbs less than my weight now, and which I think is within reach.

    Hi All…

We have got the mirror in place at daughters it’s so heavy but it does look nice, not for my style of house but suits hers..

Picked up an article in The Mail today, MM is putting a pull out supplement next Saturdays Mail, in You, about a new way of doing 5.2, eating three small meals at 800 calories. A later breakfast and an early dinner. Says it makes no difference….it perked Steve up a lot saying I am short changing him….it might be worth a read. Still I am quite happy what we are doing but if going a bit over may not make the difference…or even on maintainance..

    Carol..
Keep popping by even if low it may help to talk…..soon be your cruise and a bit of you time…good luck with all that cooking later…get them helping with the washing up….lol

    Angela…
It has been really lovely today, no rain here….garden always looks nice after a good cut back…daughters acquired a plum tree I told her it needs pruning now, after you were doing yours…

    Suse…
Come and join us…keep popping by and have a chat and get to know us, we are a friendly bunch. Lots of help and support if needed.

    Hemmy…
Are you pot painting? Lovely day for you….I have been to garden centre and bought 5 herbs and 5 terracotta pots, I have to grow them on until after the frost ….I am not very green fingered may be shouting for advice….lol

Fd’s gone well keeping busy…..going to have two boiled eggs with a slice of toast tonight, just a change from salad….don’t really do carbs on FD but it is an extra one ….quite fancied them 😀

    Minols…
Hope you are going well…soon be over…enjoy your fish and rice..

    Jean x

Hi Sue and welcome. Sounds like you’ve started 5:2 well again.

Jean, weather stayed lovely all day here too. I don’t know how you manage to fast on a Sunday, if find it so much easier when I’m distracted with work, although it does seem you’re always on the go.

Not too bad a day so far. Off to cook my tea shortly, another yummy Gousto meal. I’m hooked! 😆 xx

    Angela…
I only do Monday and Thursday usually …trying for three each week for the month…so Sun, Tues and Thurs…fits in with Friday off! and a light Saturday. Just tying to get the weight moving..😀

Your Gousto meals, seem as you are on a roll….whatever works…your portion control will get better…lol

    X

Dinner went well, everyone enjoyed it, especially the cream scones except for me being gluten free.

Mood better this evening. I hope sleep better tonight. Fast day for me tomorrow then weight on Tuesday. I hope I’ve lost something this week.
    Fingers crossed.

    Hi all

Welcome Suse, sounds like you have made a good start. Stick with us…lots of advice here, even if we dont always practice what we preach…lol

Carol, glad you are still hanging on in there…and to not be binging with all the stuff going on, fair play, you deserve to see a loss on Tuesday.

Well, I had Friday off, soon followed by Saturday and Sunday off too…oops….no excuse…..back to it tomorrow….joining the masses for Monday Fasting. I think I need a fluid only day…

Havent done much over the weekend, a bit of pottering in the garden. Hemmy I may well be asking for help..lol..its a shame we cant do photos on here.
Been joining in with the rugby games…its not normally our thing but we are enjoying it to be fair.

Ellie seems ok, as far as can be expected anyway, but she still look very bloated.
Neils mum seems to be holding her own too, and not had paramedics out in last 2 days, so fingers crossed she is going to turn the corner now.

I went along to the publishing company on Saturday morning and spent a couple of hours being taken through what the job would be about and shown the various things on excel and sage and was left to do a few invoices. Seemed ok, wasnt an interview so was weird! He happy to talk to his boss and suggest I start with them soon, although I have said that I need time for Neil to sort a different job out with the agency so at least one of us is at home with Ellie.

Right bed time, catch you all on the other side of the night.

    Kay x

    Kay
Good luck with the job. I understand you not wanting to leave Ellie at home alone at the moment.

Well I’m in bed waiting for sleep to come. Can’t remember when I last went to sleep and didn’t wake up till morning.
    Must be an age thing.
    Good night all.

    Evening all,

Well I was planning a lovely early night in fresh bedsheets and half an hour ago I was woken to my husband dashing downstairs as a pipe under the sink has burst. 😢 Currently sat here waiting for an emergency plumber to turn up.

Kay, glad the job interview went well and you seem OK.

Carol, hope your day brightened a little. xx

    Morning all and welcome Suse

Fasting today as usual. Feel all at sea with 5/2 at the moment. Weight a bit static 16lbs too early! Thinking I need a change and wondering does the liquid only actually give any better result from 500 cals or whether to have 500 cals and add another FD. Sometimes womder if I should do a couple of weeks on the blood sugar diet to get things moving but I worry I wouldn’t maintain it after going back to 5/2.

Feeling a bit affected by difficulties or sadnesses of others I have been either hearing about or on the periphery of.

Minols, you must find it difficult or have learned to cope with pretty constant interaction with people in trauma or extreme circumstances. That must take strong mental health to keep you sane and not get too emotionally involved or I guess who wouldn’t be able to do your job.

Finding work highly stressful. I am on the downward run to finishing but it doesn’t feel like that and there is some difficult stuff to get through. All a bit bleeugh at the mo. Things will change. They always do don’t they? I have to get out of this mind set, remember how lucky I am and focus on the good things in life, like the boys.

Sorry to be on a bit of a downer (emotionally not weigh unfortunately LOL) xx

    Morning All….

Lovely day here….going to have a bit of a sort out, boiler man coming Wednesday…so it’s an airing cupboard day, I need to empty it for him to take the cylinder out and decide what will be going back in…..we will need to put some extra shelves in..

Strange not fasting today but yesterday went well considering it was Sunday. FD Tuesday for us.

    Kay…

Well done Kay with the job hope I fits in well with you three. Xx

A busy week for you Sym… nice to get the airing cupboard sorted as well. Xx

Sarah… at the moment it seems like doom and gloom everywhere you look. Its strange as my American friend and I were discussing in our daily mails yesterday… You have to find away of turning off else you can get consumed in sadness. Hope you have a good day. Xx

Welcome Suse … good luck with this way of life. Xx

Well girls .. have to admit to wine Sat and Sun … annoyed.. so back to day 1 today.

Back laters …cheer myself up around the plants and flowers.

    Good luck fasters. Xx

Brit lovelies… Lets forget the mistakes of the past
and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Xx

    Morning everyone

Welcome Suse, I’m only 5’3″ and aiming for a similar weight to you, but I’ve still got 2 stone to lose. Sounds like you’ve made a good start.

Carol, hope you managed to get to sleep eventually last night. I’m with you on FD today and weigh in tomorrow, lets both hope for a loss.

Angela, why do these things always happen late at night. A few years ago I thought one of the girls was showering just after midnight, but it was a burst pipe in the bathroom. Rummaging under the kitchen sink then to find the stopcock. Hope everything has been sorted.

Kay, good news about the job. Hope MIL is on the mend and Ellie holding her own.

Sarah, stress is never good for weight loss. Keep at it. I tend to do 5600 cals (7 x 800), spread over the week, 3 liquid only fasts at about 80 cals each, then 4 days at 1340 cals. Since cutting sugar and refined carbs, my 1340 cals goes a long way. I rarely drink alcohol these days either so that helps with the cals. Mix it up a bit, but don’t give up.

Jean, lovely sunny day here today, always seems to make doing jobs around the house/garden a bit easier. Planning another attack on the wardrobe today, food shopping and try and take dog for a quick walk.

Good luck everyone, hope you have a great day.

    Morning all

Hope everyone had a good weekend, I’ll pop back and catch up – always plan to get on here at the weekend but never quite happens!

I allowed myself to cook tea on Saturday without weighing a thing, I know I was still under tdee for the day but just allowing a little slack instead of scrutinising everything on a nfd is what I need to do to make it a way of life rather than a diet – I need to trust myself to make good decisions. Still drank way too much wine, but again all allowed for.

Weighed this morning and 1.5 lb off so that’s 18lb in 9 weeks so really pleased 🙂 Long way to go though as only 5ft 2.

Joining in the Monday fast, good luck to those on it too!

Have a good day all. Clare x

Oh and before I forget – who had been trying magnesium, is it helping with sleep at all? I’m really struggling and I think it’s getting worse.

    Morning everyone

Weigh in for me today… 7lbs gain. So gained everything I lost during week one and more 🙁

Fast day for me today as well

    Jess

Don’t be disheartened Jess, could be any number of things causing it. Stick with us though and ask for any help you need x

    Morning all,

Plumbing sorted after a £350 bill! 😣 Luckily no damage to the house except maybe a rug. Phew! The house is not that old and it’s copper pipes. We are actually grateful we were at home when it happened.

I see a few people are down about their weight loss. Logic tells me that if, over the course of a week, you consume less calories than your TDEE, the weight will come off. I am, however, a believer, in the theory of your body going into starvation mode. If you keep cutting and keep cutting then I think the metabolism slows. It’s such a fine balance to get weight loss right, but we’re all here together to work through it.

Jessica, I can easily gain 5lb a week before my monthlys. Could it be that?

    I’m fasting today too. xx

    Morning All…
A busy morning here just stopped for a cuppa as up early…

Airing cupboard emptied and sorted, 6 drawers gone through, 3 two foot square boxes sorted ( summer clothes), 2 wardrobes sorted….Steve said what’s going on…I am going through the full house!

Strange you forget what you have, loads with tickets on…lol….charity pile and throw away pile growing…😀

    Hemmy…
Have a lovely lunch out and a garden centre to tempt you, hope Mums check up goes well…it is up lifting this weather really cheers you up…☀️First washing on line of the season…lol

    Lynne…
You have a good routine going and getting off the sugar….hope mine works too this week. My alcohol is down but I like a couple over my weekend (frid and sat)

    Clare…
Well done on your loss…18 lbs off in 9 weeks you really have got your head round it…2 lbs a week…😀

We are on the magnesium I think it helps, out of 5 nights I had 1 bad night, but we took it later in evening that night, it says with food so we take it at 5.30, when we remember. Steve has had a few good nights but he has stopped his meds and he is not good at the moment anyway, it will take him a couple of months to get off his tablets. Ask again in another week…lol

    Jess…
What have you been doing? You were loosing so well, do you know were you are going wrong….we are here if you need any help. Try and have a good FD draw the line and move forward again it is hard at the beginning..it could be the time of month, food in transit, water retention it might not be as bad as you think next week.. chin up..

Back off to do more sorting…

    Jean x

Gotto… not too sure as I don’t often get my period because I’m taking the mini pill.

Jean.. I’ve done my 2 FD not going over 500 cals and I’ve been making sure I stuck to 2000 on NFD so I’m not too sure where I’ve gone wrong.

Oh well, today is a new week, hopefully will have a loss at the end of this week.

Thanks for all your support 🙂

    Jess x

    Jess…
I don’t know your weight or TDEE but it may be better dropping it back to 1500/1600 on a NFD ….just keep going it will move again.

Two bedrpooms finished and sorted, I was going to throw some things out but they have already gone… lol…senior moment….The bathroom to do after lunch, just 4 small cupboard shelves, they will need washing down….
Then the office..😬a bit of a job Steve will be pulled in for that…lol..another day..

I do feel much better, declutter your house, declutter the mind…lol…I am on a roll…lol

    Jean x

Jean… I currently weigh 22st and my TDEE was around 2600

Have fun declutering your house I love a good clean out

    Jess x
