I LOVE this eating plan and can’t believe how easily I’m getting through my fast days! Years of brainwashing about eating healthy snacks in-between meals or having 6 small meals and snacks rather than 3 bigger meals so your blood sugar will stay on an even keel…. now that all feels like hogwash!
After 4 fasting days, I find I’m better off eating NOTHING all day as eating anything just seems to make me want more. I have a large tea with 1tsp of sugar when I get to work and then nothing but water. After work I have plenty of household chores to keep me busy longer, plus cooking a family meal. Other than the tea, I’m fasting for about 22 hours.
Based on weigh-ins on a scale at work (which I know may be somewhat inaccurate due to different clothes, shoes, time of day, etc) I have dropped 8 pounds. I have been a little bit careful on my feast days, but am not counting calories or cutting out desserts, just watching portion sizes more carefully. I really think I can stick to this eating plan!
