Hi, everyone –
I’ve heard great things about the Fast Diet from friends and my dad, who’s a doctor. Today is day one for me. My mom died unexpectedly last year. She smoked, and battled her weight most of her life. I spent last year dealing with the grief and some family issues. This year I’m getting myself into the best shape I can, which means losing at least 5 of the extra 10 lbs I’m carrying around. I lost 8 lbs last year, but am interested in the health benefits associated with IF and losing the rest, if I can.
I already exercise regularly, but I’m a sugar addict. I think I can manage to give up sugar on fast days by telling myself I can have it tomorrow, but am wondering what anyone else thinks about implementing two changes at once: eliminating sugar/processed foods at the same time I start IF?
