  • I did my first fast Monday. Before I started I took my blood sugar reading 6.3 at 8am.

    5 pm. 5.9

    Tuesday morning 5.2 evening 5.5

    Wednesday morning 5.4 evening 5.8

Thursday morning (fast day) 5.6 Thursday evening 5.4

Friday I continued to fast as I felt so well when I got up, until evening meal at 9pm when wife got home.
level morning 5.3 before meal at 8:30pm 5.2 one hour after meal 5.3.

    Saturday morning 5.2. 2:45 PM 5.3

Now my blood sugar had not been under 5.8 in over a year usually in the 6.3 range Pre-diabetic or Impaired Glucose Glycemia which usually leads to Type II diabetes within several years. Usually sooner than later.

Yep I’m jazzed can yah tell?

Sounds a brilliant result Quiet One. I have only just started.

    Great !!!!!!!!!

Update a year in and my blood sugars have dropped a bit more but are very stable.

My blood sugars are great. Morning after a non fast day 4.9 to 5.2 evening before bed 5.1 to 5.4 range.

Fast days this will drop and I am now testing every night to ensure blood sugar is not too low. It has yet to be a concern. Lowest blood sugar I’ve had is 4.2 in the evening just before breaking a 5 day water fast.

My Dr. is pleased and so am I. I no longer worry about becoming diabetic.
