  • Hello everyone,

    I joined this website a few years ago and did quite well on the 5;2, losing around one and a half stone. Unfortunately I’ve put most of that back on and as I’m going on holiday next month I want to be a tad slimmer. I thought Id better log in on here again though it took me a while to find my password etc! At the moment I’m trying 3 diet days and have lost around 5lbs in just under 3 weeks so not bad. Has anyone else tried this? Weigh in day tomorrow, so wish me luck!

    I am doing 4:3. So far so good, not weighing in till next week though. I started May 18.

    Good luck with the 4:3. I’ve lost about 5lbs in just under 4 weeks so not too bad. On holiday next week so will have a break and start again afterwards.

    Hi Annie,

    After you’ve reached your goal you may want to consider doing a modified version of 5:2 permanently to help you keep the weight off. I’ve been there myself, yo-yo dieting and regaining the weight over and over. The last time I lost weight about 2 1/2 years ago I started looking for a good way to not regain and last September found out about 5:2. I’ve been doing it since and haven’t gained anything back (yet). I’ve got to tell you it’s a lot easier than what I went through to take the weight off initially.
