  • Not started yet – waiting for the book to arrive.
    Will post my progress here.
    I have about 4 stone to shift.
    Challenges: Comfort eating, snacking, and am used to eating too much in general.
    Positives: I love fresh fruit and vegs.
    Goal: A pound a week would be fine. More would be nice.
    Me: English, 52, married, no children, enjoy walking.

    Pretty much answered what you need to change already. Comfort eating because of stress or boredom? The book points you in the right direction but it cant change your mindset, that you need to do.

    By fruits do you mean whole fruits of fruit juice/smoothies? Whole fruits are OK, juices are not. I would limit fruits and stick to the berry type fruits. Id avoid any processed high density carbs like bread, pasta, rice, pizza. Any grain based products really.

    Walking is good, I do an hour a day. It works if you want it to work, I lost 44 pounds over a year. Good luck.
