Started the 5:2 one month ago, and thought I’d share results with you guys.
Total loss so far 1st4lb (8.2kg/18lb) which I’m delighted with. Also lost 2″ off the waist.
I think my key has been to restrict myself on the non-fast days too. I’ve found now that my body has massively adjusted what it expects in terms of portion sizes and so it takes very little to make me full now. In fact, eating anything more is actually uncomfortable and a good reminder to stop.
Looking to lose another stone or so over the next few months which I think is definitely achievable. I’m not really exercising at the minute for a few reasons, but I should be able to play sports once or twice a week soon so that should help to.
