  • Hi everyone. Been doing the diet since 4th January. Weight loss has been intermittent. But week on week I’ve seen my inches and weight come down. Even if your weight doesn’t come down for a week or two check your inches – they come down miraculously. Keep going!

    I started the diet 2 weeks ago and sometimes I am really wondering why my inches are not getting down.

    That’s why I started writing down the food and the calories I am eating per day.

    Either I do something wrong or the calorie chart I am using tells me wrong numbers.

    Do you use a calorie chart like this: http://www.calories.info/ ?

    Or how do you control your calories?

    Would be great to hear another opinion.

    Hi fellow dieters, it’s nice to hear of your success.
    I started on 4th February this year and although I’ve had some weight loss, I was starting to wonder where I’m going wrong after hearing of people losing 4lbs and 5lbs per week and yet last week I actually put a little bit on!!
    Then this morning, I put on a pair of jeans that I haven’t worn for at least 2 weeks and ‘ta-da’, they are slightly baggy!! Just when I was thinking that I’ll never lose any weight and and then a little personal goal is achieved.
    I realise the diet is a long-term thing and not just a quick fix so I’ll keep going for a bit longer now that I can start to physically see the changes.
    Rather than watching the numbers on the scales, I’ll judge by how my clothing fits!!

    I use myfitnesspal to track calories.

    I am about 8 weeks in and 6kg down. My clothes fit better and I feel better. It has been steady loss and my program has involved increasing exercise as well as reducing calories. I agree that careful calorie tracking is essential!
