This week is the end of my third week on the 5:2 diet and so far I have seen a loss of 2lbs. My BMI is sitting at 22.6 but I would still like to lose another 10lbs and I wondered if any of you guys had experience of being in your healthy BMI range but still managed to use 5:2 to lose some weight?
I know I can increase my exercise (currently do 2 or 3 intense workouts per week) and I can start to calorie watch on my non-fast days, but that’s not the route I want to take to be honest!
I so far don’t find the fasting days much of a problem, which is a total revelation to me as I would never have thought I could do this! Going to keep it up for 3 months and see how I feel at the end of that. But if any one has any success stories I would love to hear them!
