Alternating Slimming World and 5:2

  • I am currently doing Slimming World and lost on average 3lb a week, but it’s getting harder and it would be nice to have a pie / pizza with the family occasionally etc.
    I was wondering if you could alernate diets week on week, ie. follow the Slimming world plan one week, then do 5:2 other.
    I did 5:2 for about 3 weeks in winter and lost weight but ended up giving in as was so hungry. I admire everyone doing it as takes a great deal of Will power. I wonder if alternated it would be easier to stick to?
    Or am I just being greedy wanting 2 diets at once?

    I cannot see the benefit of alternating two long term strategies in short bouts. You will not reap the benefits of either.
