Coffee & 5:2

  • Hi! Is there a rule on drinking coffee on fast days? My last fast day I drank coffee with skim milk all day, and didn’t have a meal until dinner time. Total days calories netted out to 550. Since then I’ve seen real movement on the scale (for the first time) so I was happy that I found something that seems to “work” so I’d like to continue as long as that isn’t “bad”. Thanks!

    Coffee is recommended. The true evaluation is if you lost weight and you did. Keep doing this!

    Thanks Amy! I should probably be drinking it black but I can’t tolerate that. So just a splash of skim milk. Hope the loss keeps on!
