Fast day bowels

Just done day one, slow bowels, not sure if due to codeine as well. Trying the fast diet for RA currently on methotrexate just in the middle of a flare so barely moving n on codeine so not sure what”s what. All in all not too bad for me.

I struggled in this area but found 1 teaspoon of psyllium and 1/2 teaspoon of slippery elm stirred in orange juice followed by a glass of water in the evening has got things moving regularly for me,

Actually, my bowels have gotten a ‘move-on’ from the fast days! 😀
Maybe it has time to clean up itself and therefore function better even on non-fast days.
So, me it has been the reverse… yay! 😀
