I would only like to lose 3 kilos and each time l fast 5:2 for a month l seem to get some kind of dizziness or floatiness and just been diagnosed with ear infection and on my fast days l notice my sinuses feel blocked. Could this be as a result of my immune system weakening as a result of fasting? Not being able to fight infections is not like me. I have been on 3 lots of antibiotics since Jan. for 3 different infections.
I wonder if enough research has been done on people who may be immune compromised or have a low hemoglobin level like me. Does anyone know of any research papers on the immune system and fasting?

I have seen many doctors and specialists and they don’t seem to know much, and l am not sure if fasting is causing this or not. Thats why l wanted to find some research papers or studies done on this subject.
