My Journey for 2019

    I have been following FD since 2017 May, had great success losing weight. I went from 168lbs to 133 lbs on my lowest weight. However, last year was pretty rough for me, I had to deal with lots of family issues. Since then I have gained some of the weight. I am back to 146 lbs as of the 1st of January, 2019. My goal is to get back to 133 lbs by May, 2019. That would be my second year anniversary for following FD. 13 lbs in four months is very much doable.

    I will post my result weekly to keep myself accountable.

    Congratulations on your success! I am returning to 5:2 for 2019. I wanted to follow the new directions in Dr. Mosley’s New book The Fast 800, but he said on his Twitter, it won’t be available in the U.S. until September! So I’m ordering it from amazon U.K., and it should arrive next week. I want to combine 5:2 with time restricted fasting, and he gives options in his new book.

    I did struggle with my fast days this weeks, I only had one fast day each week. I did however track my calories, overall stayed under my weekly calorie limit of 10,000. I did keep up with 70k steps/week. I also did Jillian Micheal’s Body Shred workouts week 1/2.

    @coffeebrain2019, I hope you all the success once again. For me I am trying to comeback slowly.

    I am really happy this week with my progress. I did manage to complete two fast days. I would keep up doing two fast days under 600 cal and one day where I fast 24 hours and eat a regular meal.

    I am tracking my meals using Fitbit and keep up step count average 10k/day. As for my workout, I have decided to try T25 by ShawnT and mix it up with step class from my local gym. T25 has more cardio, which helps me with my step count in these very cold winter days. It is a ten weeks program; I plan to be done with it by the end of March. I would be very happy to be in my goal weight range ~135 lbs in this time range.

    I did have only one fast day this week. I was feeling very stressed out this week. May be in was due to PMS. I did keep up with my steps and workout though. I did 2 step class and 4 T25 workouts. I had 75k total steps this week.

    I plan to do at least 2 FD next week.

    This was a good week. I finally managed to do 3 FDs this week. It does require a mindset and discipline. I am determined to keep up 3 FDs for next two weeks. I haven’t loss a great deal of weight this month, however, I did lose a lot of inches. Thanks to my T25 workout, I am feeling so fit and strong.

    I know this is going to be good month 🙂

    I did have fast day this week, very little weight loss. However, I went to buy a pant and fit into size 4 pants and size 6. My legs and abs are looking pretty tone, thanks to Shaun T T25 workout.

    Next week I will again fast 3 days. I will post my T25 alpha round measurement next week.

    Thanks @165gw, I am trying my best to improve my health and fitness.

    I am going to start FD this week and want to use this forum to keep me on track.
    My worry is that my calorie intake on NON fasting days needs to be quite low, and I hate counting calories.
    Any tips on how good habits to get into on NON fast days?

    @ The Garden Guru, I also started off not liking counting calories. However, I was munching a lot on my non fast days, hence no weight loss. I am back to counting calories. In General I found from my calorie counting that, if I can skip snacking and stick to 3 main meal, Calories are usually within the limits.

    This was a good week, I finally had a 1.1 lb loss. I felt so good to be in 130s again. I did complete month one of T25 workout. Following is my stats.

    I have lost a lot of inches all over. I am excited to start next phase of T25 Beta tomorrow.
