  • Started 3 weeks ago,Have been experiencing nausea and dry throats after my day of fasting.Any suggestions? Thanks

Are you drinking plenty of water during your fast? Dehydration occurs easily if you aren’t mindful of your intake.
Also try a small amount of salt (dip a wet finger in some salt) in the late afternoon.
Your body will become accustomed to fasting. Give yourself time.
    All the best. PVE

Nausea itself isn’t seen as a disease state, say, as you would see diabetes, or cardiovascular disease. Instead, it is generally considered to be secondary to an underlying cause. That is, a pregnant woman experiences nausea or someone who has contracted the flu experiences nausea.

From what I know, nausea may be caused by your diet. It may also be because your body is taking time to adjust to the fasting. But your doctor would probably help you best with this, especially if you have any underlying conditions.
