1st attempt, any feedback, thoughts most welcome, what to expect, what’s the worst bits?
Just been on a fortnights holiday but been gaining weight for 5 years…im 52 year old male, 16 stone , sedentary office job……………..read the book cover to cover on holiday, this is my plan.
Week 1..3 day consecutive day fast…Tues, Wed, Thursday
Week 2…3 x separate fast days……Mon , Wed, Friday
Week 3…2 day consecutive day fast….Tuesday and Wed
Week 4…2 x separate fast days…Mon , Thursday
Then repeat, if I can do it………….My logic is that if I can do the first 3 day consecutive day fast I should be full of confidence and hopefully it will get easier following that.
The fast days for me will consist of exactly
2 medium boiled eggs…160 calories…….decent protein…aprox 15 grams the pair
1 x tablespoon Mayonnaise, …40 calories
1 x tin tuna chunks in spring water, aprox 130 calories….30 grams protein
400 ml of home made bacon and broccoli soup…………..aprox 200 calories
3 to 4 cups tea with skimmed milk……to get me through it
3 litres water, maybe couple mouthfuls diet coke if struggling for taste
Should come to sub 600 calls ….with around 50 grams protein and lots green veg
Also going to eat this in 5 hour eating window 9am till 2pm………then fast for 19 hours
