Hi, I’m a 46 year old mum of 4 (oldest 25, youngest 8) and Nana of 2 and am going to start this tomorrow because my husband is away for 5 days and I can just eat what I want without questioning (yaaaay!!! I’ve been veggie for a year, don’t take milk and have butter now and again. My downfall is cooking for everyone else – fussy husband and fussy son and veggie self so planning is tricky, plus I am prone to fatigue (long term after effect of brain injury from 5 years ago)… I fasted for 40 days 2 years ago (just had one meal in the evening) and lost about 18 lbs but since my 22 year old daughter moved back in in October, 10lbs of all that weight lost has come back on. So, taking charge again. Fasting works best for me as if I’m counting points/cals etc., then I can’t think about anything but food! I might start having some fish again once in a while. Appreciating buddies in advance :)!
