  • Hello, i’ve been doing the EOD eating plan for 3 weeks and lost about 3 kg.

EOD (=every other day), consists of alternating fasting days (max. 500 cal) with eating days

Since this cannot be kept on the long therm, i was thinking that when i hit my bodyfat goals, to reduce the severity of this fasting gradually, reaching at a point doing the 5:2 and then adopting the 6:1 for a lifestyle.

I am feeling great of fast days, having lots of energy and can focus for a long time. I have experienced great things since I have stated IF in general.

I hope i can hear your opinion on my long therm approach so that i can manage ny body for the best.

    Cheers,
    ~Archimedes

I’ve been fasting every other day (alternate day fasting or ADF) for 3 months now (with a not so strict period over Christmas). Like you, I aim to get on to 5:2 eventually once/if I reach my former racing-snake physique. I doubt I’ll ever go 6:1 though as I’d put it all back on.

Well, you’re right about the 6:1 as being too unsignificant after the ADF beast, but im also working out and would like to put on some muscle and i do need a caloric surplus to achieve the gains, therefore, the 6:1 would still suffice.
If i’ll be gaining too much fat rather than muscle then i will juggle with 5:2 and 6:1 until i can stabilize my bf procentage
