17 years old boy, 5:2 diet for a week now.

    So I have been doing the diet for 1 week now, I weigh myself every morning when I wake up. When I started doing this, I was 66,7 kg. Now I’m 64,8 kg. But of course there is always a swing in my weight but I have a question.

    I’m a muslim and we fast for 30 days. For each day in those 30, we are not allowed to drink or eat before sunset. In Sweden, it’s torture for most, because we fast till 10pm. And I do it with no problem. Yet this diet is only for over 18 years old. I mean does it really matter? 1 year? I don’t think it does.

    Final question, is this diet the right thing for me?

    As long you’re not ignoring any symptoms (kind of know men to do this) and you’re getting enough calories and nutrients overall then keep doing whatever makes you feel better.
