  • Hi,
I’m heading into my 6th week and so far I am feeling amazing. I’m down 10#. I’m sticking to 5:2 strictly as outlined. I measure and log my food which keeps me mindful. I exercise 7 days week- weights 4 times a week (training different body parts), walking/hiking 3miles 5 times a week, and teaching yoga 5 times a week. I know this sounds like a lot, but part of this is my job and what I do for work. Most of my training is low intensity. For me, I believe the walking, heart rate staying around 65-70 % of my max has complimented the 5:2 plan. Is anyone else exercising quite often, too? What are your experiences?
Besides the weight loss, I just generally feel better. Stronger, less tired, less bloated, and my sense of wellbeing has enhanced.
I didn’t take my Body Fat Composition when I started, unfortunately, but I did at the start of my 5th week and was at 27% which is quite high for me. I’m interested to see what muscle gain/loss and fat loss I reach when I’m down to my goal weight. I have 30# left to reach my goal. Cheers! P.S. The recipes in the book, I’m finding, are great.

Just wanted to say hi and wish you continued success.
