I’ve started the Fast Diet today, it’s Monday and so a fast day. My boyfriend started last week and I want to be supportive as well as reap some of the health benefits after reading the book myself. I’ve been on a slow carb lifestyle for awhile and it’s helped to bring down my weight. I am considered obese but have no other health issues, not pre-diabetic, low blood pressure, low cholesterol – which seems to always surprise my doctors. However, I know these things don’t always last so anything I can do towards keeping these issues at bay is good in my book.
I hope to lose some more weight and am intrigued with the idea of fasting as a way to develop a better sense of self and body.
