  • Did I wake up and run to the fridge and just go for it like I normally do?
No I had been thinking last night what I was gonna have and how much I’m gonna enjoy it
So had free range egg spinach mushrooms and toast
I even presented it nicely on a plate and took my time eating it
    How great was that

That IS great Blondie! What a lovely start to the day!

Thank you!!i think the hardest time was between 4 and 8 pm but luckily I’m a knitter!!!
I have45 kg to lose but want to focus on small steps
Are there any other real big people out there

    Knitting is a great thing!

I think you have a great philosophy. So long as you are going in the right direction, it doesn’t matter if the journey takes a while.

On the other hand, people who have more weight to lose, tend to lose quickly to begin with. I hope you find other people here who began with a similar weight to yours to lose.

I was close about 25kg overweight about 5 years ago. I lost about 20 kg by cutting out sugar (including fruit). I did this because high sugar foods were making me feel ill, but ofcourse I was delighted when I lost weight. Then it plateaued, and I began putting on weight again.

I began 5:2 nearly 3 months ago, with about 8 kg to lose. I haven’t got scales so I don’t know how much I have lost in weight. But after two months I had lost 10 cm from my waist, and I have been throwing out clothes that have got too big for me, and I am beginning to fit into clothes that were too small for me.

But even better, I feel healthier. My hunger signals and fullness signals are normalising, and eating better on non fast days is becoming easy and natural. It is a great way of life for me.

    Wow you’ve done very well
I have lost weight many times before but always put it back on
Getting harder if you’re getting older too
Think I can handle this one
    Just back from morning walk
Planning to fast Monday’s and Thursday’s
But next week got to be Tuesday instead of Monday
    But this is so flexible
I’m surprised how not hungry I am today just back from walk
Thinking more about what j put in my mouth
Good result in a short time!

I hope you had a good Monday fast, Blondie!

Thank you! I did! It was my bday
    So fasting today
    So far so good!

Excellent! And happy birthday wishes to you!
