Only recently ( yes I know it’s lazy!) have I discovered Birds Eye Steamed Vegs pouches in all sorts of flavours.Rice too.

Tonight we had salmon, with 1 pouch of Mediterranean steamed vegs shared, 50 cals each, some fresh mushrooms,( not many) and Lakeland fish stock ( they do it in tubs)
4 cals per 100ml; (I only used a tbsp. x2 of liquid)not 100 ml.
and 1 tbsp. of Carnation ‘cook with it’ low cal savoury cream.
then baked it all in foil. It was really lovely. Hubby had some mashed spuds with his.
It was ,lovely. A good finish to the day. Drinks ( for me) have been green tea, no cals; or still water 1 cal per 250 ml.
At least I didn’t fall off the wagon today!!
Lakeland do small tubs of stock which last for ages in different flavours.
