Hi is anyone out there?! I’m determined to give this a go. Years ago I lost my baby weight on this diet. Now approaching 50 I don’t want to settle. I have had a few false starts this year so fingers crossed xxx

Hello, started my first day today and so far i am ok. Breakfast at 7.00 am was prorridge, followed by yogurt and frozen berries at 11.00 am. I cannot have a late breakfast as i suffer from daily headaches and i have to eat within an hour of waking. So far i have had 3 lack coffee’s and planning my main meal at 5.30pm this evening. I will report later as to how i feel, so far so good. I am planning my FAST days as Monday and Thursday so here goes.
Hi All. I am starting today also. I have to make this work.I am 51 in a few weeks, Handed in my notice two weeks ago and left my office job to find a new healthy path for myself. I have no plan but I am no longer going to settle for a miserable life sitting in an office all day, watching myself slowly putting on weight and then eating chocolate in the evening to comfort myself. Forward to a healthy life for us. I had an egg sandwich for breakfast at 7:00 am and have a lental soup for tea tonight at 7:30 pm. I have walked for an hour this morning and going to pilates this evening. Good luck everyone xx

Started Sunday, lasted the whole day without caving in a binging on food of an evening.
I’m definitely an afternoon eater. Haha
Sunday I ate breakfast of a piece of whole meal toast, three boiled eggs.
Made sure I drank loads of water.
But found I had such a bad headache.. think that it may possibly be a sugar withdrawal?!
Anyone else have a similar first day?

Liliv, is you headache related to caffeine? Could indeed be sugar withdrawal. Keep monitoring that.
Breakfast at our house was an egg baked with the flavors of Cheddar, salt cod, and Savory. Served with strawberries, fruit smoothie [homemade], and blackish coffee.
Dinner will be 4 oz salmon baked with tomatoes and Parmesan cheese. Served with green beans.

I started yesterday after taking a break for a while. I used to do 500 calories but I’m trying 600 calories and see if I still loose weight. I also do 16:8 so I only eat 2 meals on my fast days. I basically have 4 recipes that I use on my fast days and I will have a high protein usn meal replacement shake maybe once a week when I feel to lazy to cook
I try to do 16/8 Monday to Friday coz my weekends are sometimes are too busy. I was doing it a while before I started 5/2. I start work at 6am so my first meal is at 10am and then I eat dinner by 6pm. I eat only twice a day Monday to Friday (also sometimes on the weekends). Can’t say I’ve lost any weight by just doing 16/8 but my blood sugar is very much better! I don’t get “hangry” anymore!
