Started this week…but not too good :(

  • Thought I would start the diet this week, how come as soon as I say the diet I am starving!
    Think I had just under 600 on my diet day, forgot to count an apple, nectarine and plum 🙁
    Non diet days didn’t eat that much at all except for a small slice of case.
    Second diet day did really well and today have only had a small bowl porridge and to be honest, not really fancying anything BUT I am constantly thinking about food Why is that????

    Hi Seasider I presume that you ate more than just a slice of cake – like you had breakfast, lunch & dinner too 🙂
    I think that a lot of us think a lot about food when we first start a new eating regime.
    Try not to be obsessive on your normal eating days. relax that slice of cake is OK.
    If you eat 600 cals on your fast day – that’s OK too. If you are looking to loose weight it will just be a little bit slower. This is meant to be a lifestyle change, so slow and steady is fine.
    The first week or two I was scared of undoing all the hard work of the fast days. I didn’t need to be. Two months in and the weight is still dropping.
    So just relax, fasting days aren’t that tough, and let yourself eat normally on the normal days.
