Hello everybody – been doing the 5:2 for three weeks – lost some weight but also noticed that it is definitely helping with my bouts of binge eating – have not had an urge to binge since started fasting for two days a week. Was a bit ‘naughty’ today had a packet of crisps and a chocolate bar 🙁 but to be honest I am not worried by this and am happy with how I am feeling. I have worked out that if I do not eat anything on my fast day until around 1pm (200 cals) I can then happily go through till 6pm for a meal (300) I use water/green tea/vegetable bouillon etc to fill up during the morning. When I have a breakfast meal at around 7am I am much hungrier during the day! So during the first couple of weeks I have succeeded in finding out what suits me. I am happy to continue as it really appears to suit me. Thanks for reading xx
