Im new on the 5:2 bandwagon – I first heard about it about a year ago but wasn’t in the right mind frame (committed/ready) to make a change.
Recently I got some news about my health (PCOS) and its really given me the push I need to snap out of my ‘funk’ and do something about my health.
The past week i’ve been actively making healthier choices while looking into other life style options that would suit me and am 1.1kg down just by calorie counting with the help of ‘my fitness pal’.
I looked into intermittent fasting & also the 5:2 a little more and have considered combining both.
Has anyone else done this?
I’ve got a huge amount to loose (36.6kg – 80.6lb) and am the kind of person who needs to see results on the scale ASAP or my motivation goes out the window.
I was going to try doing intermittent fasting either 5-7 of the days while staying under my ‘maintenance’ calorie allowance & of course adding the 2 500cal days in there too.
Would love input! 🙂
