  • Hello all, I’m new to this. I’ve noticed that most of the posts and all of the FAQs are about the fasting days, but there is very little about the non-fasting days. What are you all doing on those days? I was under the impression that you could eat more or less what you liked (obviously you would need to make healthy choices or there’s no point) and indeed, that’s what Michael Moseley says in his opening paragraph (he talks about having puddings), but then further on there is a bit where you work out your BMI and what have you, and it then advises that you should just eat your TDEE calories. Is this what everybody is doing?

    Hi Jeannie

What you like doesn’t mean as much as you like, it means that no foods are forbidden.

Thanks Amazon, I’ve had some really good advice in answer to my previous post, but for your information, what AND as much as you like was the message given by Michael Moseley, I’ve copied and pasted it here:

If we were to distill the Fast Diet into a single sound-bite, it would all come down to 5:2. That’s five days of normal eating, with little thought to calorie control and a slice of pie for pudding if that’s what you want.

So you see, it is a little confusing. I have a stone to lose, so not a massive amount, and I just wanted a little clarification, and some information about what others are doing, which I now have, thank you.
