  • Hi All! I’d appreciate any pointers as a beginner. I’m 45 yo, female and the dreaded hormone shift has me 25lbs heavier than I was a couple years back.
I really don’t have trouble getting through the school day ( stressed out teacher here ) with no food. BUT coffee free would be difficult. I know that coffee with a little cream is acceptable as I’ve read but I’m wondering if it would be a complete disaster to have regular coffee ( cream/milk and sug**). I’m not a dieter and never had to worry about my weight so this is new and I’m looking forward to it but just would like a few tips. THANK-YOU and God bless 🙂

    Hi Piper and welcome:

You can eat/drink anything you want as long as you stay within your daily calorie limits of 500 or less on diet days and TDEE or less on non-diet days.

    Here are some tips: https://thefastdiet.co.uk/forums/topic/the-basics-for-newbies-your-questions-answered/

    Good Luck!

Just cut out simple carbs, bread, pasta, pizza, potatoes and with sugar being one of the worst, on your fast days. Ween your off having sugar with your coffee. I have coffee with milk but zero sugar.
