  • I am a mad menopausal female with a hectic lifestyle and should be, by all accounts be as fit and thin as a whippet. Sadly that is not the case! I have many kg’s to lose (about 20).The 5:2 fast diet appeals to me as previous diets felt like punishment for enjoying food. I have read the book through and like the common sense approach of this eating plan. I have spent a few days preparing and getting my head around this plan and have my online shop arriving today. So here goes, no excuses! It down to me

    good luck with the 5:2. I’m in my 4th week. I lost 9 lbs in my first 3 weeks but I have a lot to lose. It’s a lifestyle thing.
    Hope your first fast day was manageable. It does get easier as you get into a routine. My fast days are Mon / Wed although doing a Mon / Tues this week so I can fit lunch with a friend in tomorrow. let me know how you are getting on.
