New to Fast Diet

  • Hello, I am ready to start this program. I’m 61 and feeling the change in my body since turning 60. I’ve been struggling to get my belly fat off and been unable to shift anything and am hopeful this will work. I am healthy, exercise regularly, and for the most part eat well, but am struggling. Looking forward to more energy and losing some inches in my waist. I am excited to be part of this community.

    Hi, I just started this week and have lost 2lbs.
    I am 59 and have found it hard to lose weight in the past few years.
    I think the older you get the harder it is to lose weight.
    I have to admit I don’t do a lot of exercise but I am going to try and do some even it is walking.
    I found this first week went very easy but I was hungry on my second fast day.
    I am delighted with the weight loss and it will make me stick to it.

    Thanks ! I am on week 2 now. I lost 2.5 the first week (very pleased that something shifted at long last). I am changing up my fast days this week to be more compatible with my schedule. I am somewhat challenged as a runner. Saturday I ran my long run, which was 10 miles, as I am training for a half marathon in March. I have decided I need two regular eating days before long runs like this.

    I too am pleased with the initial weight loss and find it motivating. I like feeling less sluggish although I will admit I was feeling a bit hungry this morning, after my fast yesterday (Sunday).
