need help and support

  • Hi need a diet buddy i did the fast diet last year and lost 9lbs in four weeks which i was very pleased with but then i changed diets and been yo yo dieting ever since,im going to fast monday and wednesdays i have 10lbs to lose,just looking for a buddy to help me through as i have a weakness for all things sweet and a drink on weekends i have 3 weeks to lose as much as that ten pounds as possible.i hiit on the treadmill everyday for 30 mins and jillian michaels 30 day shred everyday.is it still ok to carry on with my rountine om fast days and whats good filling foods for fast days.

    I need buddy too,
    I’m in a similar position – 3 weeks before holiday and need to lose as much as poss before then……..and 14-20 lbs overall.
    I did 5:2 back in 2013 with really good, reliable results ( about 9lbs like you) but put the weight back on by being complacent.
    I usually stick to lunch and dinner of chicken and roasted veg on fast days.
    I think it’s imperative that you really look at your calories at the weekends and try to be as good as possible (I think letting go of the diet because it’s a weekend is usually where it all goes wrong.) I seem to be forever ‘starting again’ every Monday morning!
    Let’s keep in touch and help each other along to that 3lb a week goal!
