Day 24-No. VA USA-FD800
Still here, weight stable, need to get on the downward slope again. Have had to take some low dose steroids for a cough that persists, so that helps hang onto water, and appetite. But I am off it now.

We are definitely in the dreaded “heat dome” here, with the 99 degree temperature and feels like over 100 because of the humidity. Summer in the South, really, just a bit early. But unpleasant!

Granddaughter who spent the last 4 1/2 months in NZ is returning to Virginia soon. She got her dad over there to tour the southern island for a week before they fly back. She is quite the outdoorswoman and wanted them to camp and rough it, but he is the man who had the intricate cancer surgery in February and, while he has recovered very well, he said, “No” , he would have a decent bed and working plumbing for the week! (My kind of camping….) I think he will still enjoy himself!

USA. Day 24. FD

The heat today here is overwhelming and will be for the rest of the week. With a temperature of 103 degrees F and a feels like temperature of 110 degrees F, no one is going anywhere. First, we have too much rain and now unbearable heat. I am dying to go outside and do something. The humidity is just as bad. ☹️

With all this heat, it is easy to not eat too much. This is making my FDs easy right now.
