Is it just me…anyone else gained in week 1?

  • Ouch: 2 1/4 lbs on despite feeling as if it had gone quite
    well!Clearly I took the idea of eating what you like on the
    other days too far. I am persevering however as the science
    appeals and it will be interesting to see what a more balanced approach brings.

    You can eat what you like, but not as much as you like on the non fast days.Have a look at the TDEE calculator on this page and that will give you an idea of the calories you should be consuming. Have a look at the FAQ’s too.

    “anything”, unfortunately not “everything”
    You may find, as happily I have, that after a few weeks you will find yourself needing less on eating days.

    Thank you both for your encouragement and the calculator info. I will keep going as it wasn’t a normal week for me. Here’s hoping for a better result next time…
