How does TDEE work?

  • Sorry if this sounds stupid but I am on my second week and still finding out if I am doing this right.
    As I wanted to make an initial ‘good start’ in preparation for an upcoming holiday I decided to do 4:3 and…. Thinking it would help I decided to stick to 1200 calories on my normal eating days as I thought this might speed up my initial weight loss.
    My TDEE though is 1518 calories .
    So, am I sabotaging my diet?

    Joalan you are not sabotaging diet. The fewer calories you eat the more you will lose whether on your fasting or normal day.
