  • Hi everyone! I just started the 5:2 and feeling very positive and encouraged.
    I read the book and it all makes so much sense. So, I started on Friday with a fast and lost 1.6 kilos. Ate normally the next day (well, 3 beers aren’t normally included in my diet but hey, it was bloody hot and dry here), and so I fully expected to put those kilos back on.

    Guess what? I did not gain anything! My fast days will be Tuesdays and Thursdays – also no alcohol on these days. Fast exercise on Mon, Wed, Fri…

    Wow that is quite a loss, and in one day!! Good luck and a very happy 2014 to you as well!! 🙂

    I’m so happy to say that the 1.6 kg lost after my first fast-day stayed off. Can’t wait to see what today’s fast will get rid of!

    Really, I’m just blown away that it didn’t return during the following 3 days of normal eating, as that’s what most diets do. This is already looking to be a new way of life for me. 🙂
