Hi ive just joined today but been doing the diet for almost two months and lost 10lbs. I do think you need a lot of willpower and also i think you need to not beat yourself up if you, dare i say it..cheat lol. Ive found that a couple of times ive had to just eat something because the hunger overwhelmed me. As im going away in sept iv been fasting mon weds and fri. I have a banana for breakfast with a cup of fruit tea and a fruit box for lunch..few grapes, pineapple and kiwi fruit. When i get home from work i usually have something like toast and tomatoes followed by a yoghurt. I do vary my evening meal but try to keep to about 300 calories. On my non fast days i try not to eat more than recommended. I have gone over but like i said earlier i dont beat myself up. Motivation for me is fitting into clothes i havent managed to get in for months and actually not feeling bulky. I also just feel better. I have decided to make this a lifestyle change so once i hit target weight will probably fast for one day a week. Hope this has been of some help
Hello, I think I can survive the fasting days of 500 calories but what I am really having a hard time with is the black coffee. If I have a my non-dairy creamer, it will be about 60 calories and 10 grams of sugar, using 2 tbsps. Does this defeat the fast? It must as it would be allowed if it didn’t. Just thought I’d check nonetheless. M.
