  • My profile name indicates where I want to get to….. and by implication the scale of my current problem :-/

I’m a 57 year old office worker male and I weigh 136kg as of this morning. Enough is enough – I am starting 5:2 on October 1st – just looking at the best way to utilise my 600 cals on the fast days. For me, Monday and Thursday will be those.

My weight has steadily increased over the last 15 years and now it’s seriously impacting my life in many ways, so it’s time. I’ve developed some seriously unattractive eating habits (anyone else have chips in the car on the way home from work??)and my relationship with food needs a complete revamp.

It’s going to be a long journey but I’m sure the support and the tools are right here. Feel free to contact and share advice – thanks!

Welcome to the journey Waist 38!
It doesn’t matter how long the journey takes, if you are going in the right direction! That is my philosophy anyway.
I hope you are looking forward to tomorrow. Have you planned what you will eat? I decided on two small meals, porridge in the morning, and soup in the evening. It works for me and I have stuck to it for the 14 weeks I have been doing 5:2.
Best wishes for your first Fast Day!
