I’m Canadian but I have been living in Japan for more than 16 years. I watched the documentary last year and instead of doing the fast diet I tried alternate day fasting and that didn’t go too well. I don’t think I was prepared and maybe starting off that way wasn’t so good for me.
Today is my first fast day. I made egg drop soup and will eat that when I’m hungry. The good thing is …I’m never hungry when I wake up so skipping “breakfast” is normal for me. My day is a bit odd as I tend to go to sleep around 3-4 am and wake up around 11am or noon.
I’ve been reading the forums a lot and looking around the web for low cal recipes for the fast days. I think I will also keep my regular days lower carb and gluten free most of the time.
