    I’ve just joined & wanted to say hello, I’m 62 years young but some how when I wasn’t looking👀 middle aged spread has surrounded me. I have finally realised, that the days of being able to eat chocolate bars googy puddings & cream cakes with out putting an ounce on have sadly gone 😂
    So I’ve ordered the book but until it arrives I had my first try at fast day, yogurt for breakfast & egg salad for tea.

    Went well so maybe too many calories 😉

    I’ve never read the book but I have seen the programme. I must admit to being a sucker for’how to’ books but you really don’t need one for this. All the info you could ever need is here. And if you really don’t want to trawl the archives, remember that the less you eat the more you lose.

    Try and drop the sugary foods and replace with fat and protein. The yogurt you had, read the label and see how much sugar it has. Try and go for a high fat low sugar yogurt. It will satiate you for a lot longer. With sugar you will get an insulin spike which will cause your body to start storing sugar as fat as fast as it can to bring the blood glucose down. 30 minutes later you’ll be hungry again and the cycle starts again.
