Hello everyone (another newbie!)
Just read the book after seeing the program on television.
As a retired chemist I like the science in all of this it is all first class stuff. I have just started the 5:2 diet and I think I may be doing this for a very very long time.
I have read lots and lots of books on diet and healthy eating but the 5:2 Diet has really struck a nerve. The science is soundly based and no pseudo stuff here!. I’m only moderately overweight but need to lower my cholesterol, total body fat and my BMI just a little. This seems to be the best approach.
I’m fine tuning my 600 calorie intake at the moment which in itself seems quite straight forward, so good luck everyone and lets all live to a 100.
