Going v well but brain is mush

  • Love this diet; didn’t have a lot to lose, but find it very easy. 6 week2 in, 2 off for holiday and will soon be down to 6:1 to maintain BUT I can’t think straight! I can concentrate better but gave made so many mistakes, find I can’t articulate a sentence which us frustrating me. Anyone else had this problem?

    Hi 1 3 Maggie, I answered this a bit on another thread (except I got your name back to front, so maybe I am not thinking straight either!)

    Is your brain mushy on fasting day? Is it worst when you are really hungry? Are the foods you eat on fasting day Low GI eg take a long time for your body to process?

    I know from other situations where mushbrain is a problem (chronic illness, high stress) that it is important to try not to get frustrated (because that just makes it worse) but to take it slowly, don’t try and multitask, and write a list before you do anything.

    Hope you can work it out!
